is Basch good 5* tank?

I was hoping to get Balthier because he looks cool as gunslinger unit
but I drew Basch instead. since I don't have Wilhelm or Zargabaath I assume he's a good replacement? for AOE cover at least?

Yes, he is good, probably the best tank.. been wanting to pull for him, but am not able to obtain him. Used my friends basch instead for the event, i ditch my healer lol no healer needed. Aoe magic and physical guarding is superb, if u built him right, like some basch that i used, he got minimal damage and almost never need healing

Still pulling all the top drawer units I see laugh.gif

Basch is like WoL combined with Mystea, and then pumped up to 11.
I believe Wilhelm is a provoke tank, so not a direct comparison with Basch.
As a cover tank, he's like the Ayaka equivalent of cover tanks - no one else comes close, and he'll be the leading man for some time.

Balthier OTOH feels like the troll rainbow this time around sweat.gif

I keep seeing this WoL abilities as a great tank but I still cannot pull him. I used Earth Veritas all this while so when I got Basch and put him in my team I was really impressed. no healing needed and his magic/physical damage cover are amazing.

yeah still drooling over Balthier but I won't hard pull for him. maybe I'll get him off banner one day but if not,no biggie also ^^
now back to hoarding waiting for next CG units

118 tickets - it's been a while since I had more than 18 tickets even sweat.gif

I got 2 Steiners and 1 BW3 from about 10 tickets; that'll do for me laugh.gif
