Landed property share the same fiber cable from outside pole of TM to landed house. UniFi share their backbone to Maxis / Future ISP.
QUOTE(danieltay @ Dec 11 2015, 05:44 PM) In my case, from streamyx to maxis ftth, no need to terminate, unifi i am not sure. But once maxis ftth is up, you no longer has access to streamyx even though your account is active. Not sure for landed property, because mine is high rise building and understandable since there is only one copper phone line available. |

Vip20.
Both my house is landed. So my Unifi n Maxis use same fiber cable from TM pole n same BTU. BTU port 1 is Unifi, port 2/3/4 is Maxis. Both same performance, no issue at all. Both ping I got is lesser than 15ms. Can run both line simultaneously VIP20 and Maxis 30mbps at the same time without issue. Go TMPoint and ask clearly.
QUOTE(geladiator80 @ Dec 16 2015, 09:35 AM) Hi everybody. I am moving out to a new location and I want to apply for unifi. When I search for unifi coverage in the respective website I get this warning: Notification: Order already exists in the system. Click 'Next' if you want to proceed with another order for below address: What does this mean? Does this mean that the previous tenant before me was using Unifi there? If this is the case how should I proceed? Appreciate if anybody could help. |
