Thought you all know about it already. I also found out about it from this forum, thanks to khalid21 I bought a DLink, some Nestle foodstuff and electrical appliances. The discount applied to all of them.

The Archer C7 is here but sold out.
http://www.gemfive.com.my/electronics/comp...outer-archer-c7

But gotta be careful, some products are marked up quite high so check prices first. The DAP-1665 is a good deal too. RM250 cheapest in LYP that I can find. I paid RM195 for it and free shipping.

yeah i never got a chance to google gemfive before....thanks i will update device in lazada and gemfive... rclxms.gif

The letter looks real enough. You can always call TM 100 to confirm. I'm sure there'll be bad hats somewhere thinking of ways to take advantage of this situation.

mine use the newer version of adapter already, same as in the picture shown above. maybe the manufacture recalled back all adapter and replace with upgrade one.

QUOTE(NGFN @ Dec 20 2015, 11:25 PM)
I am back to this topic again which is very sad because i have some problem again  rclxub.gif

As some of you know I just change my unifi package from 10mbsp to 30mbps. However the speed doesn't change much and so I called TM and their technician come yesterday. they fix the thing and one of the computer got 20mbps+ speed while another computer only have less than 8mbps speed.

The computer that have 20mbps + is using the wireless high gain USB adapter which i bought for my sister since her room have low wifi signal.

While my computer only get 6-7mbps with only built in wifi since my room have better signal.

I ask the technician why my computer speed only 6mbps and they say is because i am using built in wifi while my sister is using high performance usb adapter so got better speed which i believe them and let them go back.  unsure.gif

So now my sister computer consistently getting 15-18mbps speed (using wireless high gain USB adapter) which i think is still low because I was expecting at least 20mbps while my computer only get 1 to 6mbps speed and its very inconsistent and when i try to watch youtube.... sometimes fast sometimes slow (before the upgrade it is very consistent)

So my problem now is

1. Does wireless high gain USB adapter really makes the speed faster compare to built in wifi.

2. Before the upgrade my internet speed is quite consistent with 5-8mbps and rarely drop less than 1mbps speed (using built in wifi only) but after upgrade my speed still 5-8mbps and sometimes less than 1mbps speed and it is very inconsistent... is it really my built in wifi problem or the TM problem?? Why my speed never go above 10mbps? Is it true that my built in wifi will limit my speed?
*
the best solution is to use lan cable right to ur pc and change ur stock router to a better one,it will give you and ur sister a better wireless connection

May i know how is ur unifi device setup? Ur ac connect to the tm router or the stb? Tq!
*
using new router do you mean? the router u will connected with the BTU(broadband termination Unit). STB are connected with the router. if stock router, stb will be using port 4 only. if u use your own router that support unifi/maxis fibre ,u can set whether port 1,2,3 or 4 for stb vlan .

hi guys,

i got confused with this promo,

RM179 for 30Mbps unifi + Aneka/Varnam pack, meaning my total bill would only be RM179 right?

coz currently what i received was RM 179 for internet and another RM30 charges for Hypptv which bring my total bill to RM209/monthly.  rclxub.gif
if the latter is right, then screw me!

[attachmentid=5591860]
*
when did u subscription start? the promotion start October 15th so before that u will be bill with old price...but some of our friend already got the discount price after sending report to skmm altho their subscription before oct 15th. the easiest way is to go to TM point and try there.

I went to a cafe in S'ban last weekend, I was testing the speed when I connected to their connection. I captured more than 30Mbps on my phone, so were my sister and her husband too. In addition, so many customers were using at the same time too. I wonder which package they are using.
*
maybe they use 2-3 30 or 50mbps internet connection. they normally use load balancer router. or maybe they subscribe DOME drool.gif
