Does your KBox mini have a spring loaded positive pin, or is it the fixed pin version? If it's a fixed pin, you may have problems using some atomizers. The positive pin on my snub nose is adjustable, but I've never used it on any Kanger mod b4.

Most RDA and RTAs will come with one or two ready-made coils, but I never use those (especially those in cheap clones) because I don't know what's the quality of the metal. It's not hard to build; search for tutorials on youtube.

Gold plated or not doesn't make that much of a difference, negligible almost. Since its jz the coating, inside still copper.

I guess is manufacturing qc. Some will have problems like drill hole too small, gt drill bits left over etc etc. But noone will ever go for a ori RDA imo, too expensive for the simple design d.

Guys, quick question:

I tried to see if my subox mod (the kbox mini) could fire a TFV4 mini attached with the TF-S6 OCC.

When I fire it, my ohm flashes (0.4 ohm) and no vapour is produced. Tried firing at 45W and nothing.

Plugged the tank on my friend's Sig mini (30 W) and it can fire (albeit no taste/pathetic amount of vapour).

How come the kbox mini can't fire at all?

Kbox mini is using fixed pin.
not suitable for longer connector

Are you suggesting most RDA (dripper) uses long connectors?

It is a fixed 510 connector on the Kbox mod (from the starter kit) and by default the subtank mini makes just about the right length to make contact.
I have this issue which my RDA does not make contact. So you have to "dig" it out abit.

After my RDA session and when I put my subtank back on, it will push the pin down. Have to dig it out again if I want to use other tanks.

Not sure if you can wait but this new kbox mini addresses the flaw (510 spring loaded) with new TC feature.

Thats weird. Another thing the 0.5 occ comes with it running on SS not kanthal.

ohms reading flashes indicate for you to check your atomizer connection and short

try to take small flat head screwdriver and gently slide it between 510 connection in mod and raise it up a little bit

i never use any dripper before

Hmm...Will have to disassemble the mod for that right? Not worth the hassle imo. I'll just use the TFV Mini on my IPV 3 Li if that's the case. Subox will be my run around mod.

fire on mechanical mod so not sure wattage. didn't have uwell crown.
