Recently bought a goblin mini and tried to build a dual coil, when I vape i sense coil smell, also can say coil taste + juice taste, perhaps dry hit but i don't feel like it.

This is my first time to custom build ... anything i should look at ?

for a mech mod, wash with dish soap since it has degreaser > dry > isopropyl rub down threads, inside of tube, switch assembly, floating pin > polish for brass / copper tube, switch assembly or mineral oil rub down for those that's coated. I do an extra step to ensure minimal voltage drop but that's just me

for regulated, just the contacts I guess

Isopropyl alcohol and tissue on 510 threading, soap and tissue for the rest.

I use steel wool for contacting areas, don't use metal polish, even thou is shiny.
There is gonna be a layer of it. Which is a no no.
Metal polish just for the external of the tube to give it that shiny look.

mineral oil rub down? never heard that.

wad mod u rocking? if u have a super low ohm build any mod will warm up. it's normal. but if it's like super hot than u might wana inspect it

depends on the material ur mod's made off. mine's a full copper.
i run it down with soap water and a brush. for stubborn stains i use tomato sauce. <--- no really. i do.
then i wipe it down and use cape cod polishing cloth for the blingggggg
i have a friend who polishes his brass with a polishing wheel. damn shiny
