Guys, A6000 any good ? In this price range, do you guys have any recommendation ? I am not a photographer, just want to use it for my backpacking trips. Mostly for landscape and nature.

QUOTE(dexterdan @ Jan 8 2016, 07:09 PM) Guys, A6000 any good ? In this price range, do you guys have any recommendation ? I am not a photographer, just want to use it for my backpacking trips. Mostly for landscape and nature. Unless you have specific criteria to define "good camera", any mirrorless camera will do for your purpose. I will recommend RX100 Mark III if you have slightly more budget due to its smaller size and lens quality compared to A6000 with 16-50mm kitlens..

23mm on APSC is equal to 35mm on Fullframe. so SEL20F28 is the nearest best choice for those who want '35mm'. at the low price. not to mention 24mm. am i right?

QUOTE(asrul @ Jan 8 2016, 09:40 PM) yeah forgot to mention.. but the price.. There's the FE28 too you know. A bit longer than "true 35" (42mm FFE) but much better optically than the 20 (and faster at f/2) while not being as kidney-requiring as the SEL24Z. But yeah, at 30mm equivalent, the 20 is quite close, plus the extra wideness gives you slightly more space to play with without it turning into the "watch your corners and edges" exercise that shooting with wider WAs normally require. Also the S19 at 28mm equivalent but you've been there already right? This post has been edited by Eiraku: Jan 8 2016, 11:54 PM

QUOTE(DarkSaviour @ Jan 8 2016, 12:27 PM) I got mixed review on it at f1.4.. do f1.4 getting soft image or sharp? if don't mind do share some photo unless u doing really2 close up sharpness is quite good & with the 1/3 price of the batis, a lil bit of post processing should be enough. but on a7ii , i cant rely on the peeking that much at f/1.4 quickly magnify zoom is faster even in event/weddings sample
