QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Nov 11 2015, 11:41 PM) My question... How many shot did you attempt before getting this shot? this one ah? only 1 shot... randomly sweeping through the grass in paddy field then i noticed it... so took a snap.. haha.. yes handheld and MF..can be done easier if you have more practice with it.. Wind is blowing and i believe it's done handheld. The DOF is so thin at that focal range |

QUOTE(dexterdan @ Jan 8 2016, 07:09 PM) Guys, A6000 any good ? In this price range, do you guys have any recommendation ? I am not a photographer, just want to use it for my backpacking trips. Mostly for landscape and nature. Unless you have specific criteria to define "good camera", any mirrorless camera will do for your purpose. I will recommend RX100 Mark III if you have slightly more budget due to its smaller size and lens quality compared to A6000 with 16-50mm kitlens.. |

QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Mar 3 2016, 02:30 PM) I'm torn between SEL1670Z and SEL18105G for kit lens replacement and longer focal length. The max focal length on the Zeiss one is shorter than Sony's one. Any pro suggestion between these 2? if for me, i will just take SEL18105G ... both of them got big difference in price... Or maybe I can take a look at other brands? if you are just casual user, SEL18105G will be good enough and more practical.. |

QUOTE(mastering89 @ May 25 2016, 10:52 AM) QUOTE(lwliam @ May 25 2016, 09:09 PM) E mount always AF with aperture full opened, even if your settings is at f/22. So your point of using at f/1.8 doesn't matter at all. Same goes to using high ISO. The sensor auto increase the gain to let in enough light for it to focus. If it can't lock focus, thats because the image itself is already too noisy for the camera to lock even with max aperture. Like mastering said, MF is the way to go in those situations. that is what i noticed too.. i thought i can find some better solution here.. |
