Service charge is standard at 50 cents and imposed by TnG. Some merchant may abosrb it like Watson.

Surcharge is imposed by merchant itself to cover the merchant fee by banks for allowing to use CC for reloading TnG which normally in CASH term. It varies from RM 1 to RM 2.

Yes. Normally only petrol station imposed surcharge.
JG didn't impose surcharge also.

Shell in Sri Hartamas has stopped accepting CC for reload.. failed to do it last 2 times since April

I tried with AMEX and it's rejected but it works when I switch to Maybank Barcelona Signature. Are you using AMEX?

No grocery place can reload in Nu Sentral. However, you can reload at TnG Hub with general card and earn cash back.
