no matter how you all hantam me, but i really felt the difference before and after. The first week i ride, even only around the taman for a few minutes, come back with hot engine cover, rain water on the cover dried up in few minutes, but after changing the oil, even i cruising for more then hours, same under rainy day, the engine cover is touchable. I not sure what happens but this is the different i notice. I not expert in car engine, i just spoke out the observation i got.

to be frank , even if u only change ur engine oil on 20k km, it wont damage ur engine in long term. engine oil can last for at least 15k km. juz that they want u to spend money , ask u change every 10k . but since i want warranty , mar follow .... nod.gif

I don't dare risk servicing at 15,000km not matter how advanced the engine oil is...

I wonder how he test that it is colder? By hand touching the metal of the engine or just the plastic cover? Or he have that irfrared temp measuring thing?

of course no point save Rm140 for this risk. 15, 000miles = 24,000 km ..thats too much

The SC conned you to change engine oil. Think about it, can the cheapest engine oil be use for 10,000km? Mineral oil which is the cheapest is recommended to be changed at 5,000km.

The factory oil is special blend to run in the engine for the first 10,000km...

they will follow the manual accordingly ... if SC insist or recommend u to change engine oil , report to HMSB . thats it . according to HMSB, 1k doesnt need engine oil change.

There is quick guide booklet with your City. Bring it along. There is schedule for servicing and items listed inside. I always use it to refer when servicing.

very easy . honda manual told u dont need to change engine oil , website stated clearly , so why do u still need to change engine oil at 1k km ? they asked u to save money , u go waste money

unlike car manufacturer ask u to do the other way round , then u might argue why need to waste money .

there is ntg to discuss on 1k km engine oil change . LOL whistling.gif whistling.gif whistling.gif

Hi all,

New Honda City V user here. Receive it 2 days ago. So far so good. Pretty happy with it *period*

However, one thing I just want to double check here. Since it raining heavily nowadays..im having difficulty to see on both side mirrors and rear screen. The raindrops/water are seem to stick on it and not falling down (Heh, I dont know how to explain in English but look at pic below).

My dad ask me to use liquid wax. If use this liquid wax, how long it can last? Any recommended brand?

FYI, I havent install tinted yet. Plan to do it early Dec. See financial first.
