Can some of you guys post your Average mileage on a full tank? with that type of Petrol.

Mine with Petronas get 390km with average of 11km/L
with Shell get 440km with average of 14km/L

Sadly company pays for petronas.. huhu
*
I'm using Petronas 97 can get over 500+km... But also depends on how you drive and where you drive... I'm driving from Cheras to Cyberjaya and back...

PS - My company also paying for Petronas...

I think the same, but i feel the difference for changing the oil. SC told the oil given when car delivered from factory using the cheapest oil. I tot i kena con, but i felt the difference. Besides that, I not sure is it applicable for Honda, engine breaking in may produce some tiny metal, that might damage the engine. So, no harm for buying an insurance.
*
The SC conned you to change engine oil. Think about it, can the cheapest engine oil be use for 10,000km? Mineral oil which is the cheapest is recommended to be changed at 5,000km.

The factory oil is special blend to run in the engine for the first 10,000km...

http://owners.honda.com/help/faqs

QUOTE
Why should I wait to change the oil the first time?
Your Honda engine was delivered with an oil that is specially formulated for new engines that have not yet developed their "natural" wear patterns and may contain minute particles from the manufacturing process.

American Honda strongly recommends this special oil be left in the engine long enough for these wear patterns to develop, usually until the first maintenance interval specified in your Owner's Manual, based on your specific driving conditions.

no matter how you all hantam me, but i really felt the difference before and after. The first week i ride, even only around the taman for a few minutes, come back with hot engine cover, rain water on the cover dried up in few minutes, but after changing the oil, even i cruising for more then hours, same under rainy day, the engine cover is touchable. I not sure what happens but this is the different i notice. I not expert in car engine, i just spoke out the observation i got.

Anyway got a few case, when owners asked SC to change oil before 10,000km service and getting really bad FC after change...

to be frank , even if u only change ur engine oil on 20k km, it wont damage ur engine in long term. engine oil can last for at least 15k km. juz that they want u to spend money , ask u change every 10k . but since i want warranty , mar follow .... nod.gif
but is the engine cover colder after they changed ?  laugh.gif

another newer way to determine engine oil quality  rclxm9.gif  rclxm9.gif  brows.gif

I don't dare risk servicing at 15,000km not matter how advanced the engine oil is...

There is quick guide booklet with your City. Bring it along. There is schedule for servicing and items listed inside. I always use it to refer when servicing.

Hi all,

New Honda City V user here. Receive it 2 days ago. So far so good. Pretty happy with it *period*

However, one thing I just want to double check here. Since it raining heavily nowadays..im having difficulty to see on both side mirrors and rear screen. The raindrops/water are seem to stick on it and not falling down (Heh, I dont know how to explain in English but look at pic below).

My dad ask me to use liquid wax. If use this liquid wax, how long it can last? Any recommended brand?

FYI, I havent install tinted yet. Plan to do it early Dec. See financial first.

Can get it from Eneos 1U or Kepong or Autobacs Klang.

It's 3rd party HU. It's OEM fitting only. Got icons for others cars also from their website.

Not 100% Original Equipment Manufacturer for Honda.

QUOTE
Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) is a term used when one company makes a part or subsystem that is used in another company's end product.

i doubt police will be able to do anything with just whatsapp messages, at 1.7k, might as well as just claim your car's insurance (if your ncd is at 25%), the downside is, when you renew insurance, it'll be pricier
