the backpack kena songlapped by seller..

I think the system is booting to the EFI partition which contains dell diagnostic.  If you have windows 7 x64, I think it is better to use UEFI.
Thanks for the heads-up
Ordered mine on thursday night and arrived yesterday.

Hmm... mine says two year for pro support and parts, but strangely only one year next business day on-site.

Should I be concerned?  Please check yours when arrive

as for the windows, I finally install it (enable the legacy boot in bios), my hdd is samsung
but right now, every time I turn on it, I must enter boot option and select hard disk
else will pop out dell software to check any error
can you guide me ??

*btw I use my desktop and use  windows 7 usb tool software to format my usb flash drive into ntfs so can boot in usb, just like desktop
*
another easy option is
during startup press F12 boot option.
enter Change boot mode mode setting, select Legacy boot mode,
resert and enter F12, now u can see option to boot from usb

that what I do
press F2 to go setup, disabled uefi so the legacy will be enabled > save and exit to restart
once show dell logo, press F12 boot option, choose usb
then follow the instruction depends which windows you installing
good luck

and yes, I delete those ubuntu, etc .... then only proceed to install windows

I will call Dell and check out whats up with the warranty.

Also want to ask them whats wrong with my lappy. It turns off itself after I turn on. If I turn it on the second time (right after it turns off itself), then it remains on without any problem. hmm...

Bought the Dell 7559 last Sunday (13/12) then only saw this thread today = =
If not can save RM700 buying the DOS version, well at least I got a bag. = = I opt for the i5/4gb/HDD and plan to add the RAM (and maybe SSD if I save enough) in the future.

I read a lot of people waited a long time for the laptop to arrive. May I know how long do I need to wait after I've ordered from Dell website?
