Saw on reddit people replacing the screen on their Dell 7567. I wonder if there's any shop already offering to do this and how much it'd cost hmm.gif if based on what I saw in reddit probably extra rm500?

Order one from ebay and swap it yourself. I've seen a Dell technician swap my Dell 7559 LCD, it is super simple.

One more thing you might want to consider is battery life, the Dell has a much bigger battery compared to the Q5 Evo. Most reviews say the Dell can last around 6 to 8 hours on the battery on light taks such as browsing etc.
*
Lots of benchmark says Dell can last eleven (11) hours... They seriously need to let people choose IPS screen and sell tons of their 7567 if that means less people will buy XPS15 and AW13.

hmm.. giving a choice of Dell Inspiron 7559 and 7567 .
which one will you go for?
because singapore is having some huge discount for 7559 (4k  version)
*
7567 and change the screen myself. The 1050 Ti is kind of day and night difference from 960M.

My 7559 screen starting to get yellow patches in 6 months, that moves around the screen depending on the orientation. Dell replaced the screen.

midnight called them, the other day straight send technician replace for me laugh.gif
it service very good that why I planned to extend 1 more year hmm.gif
Asus more lousy

Nice! I would think other brand will call your problem as "wear and tear" no free fix. lol.

I straight up and buy 3 years of warranty for my Dell laptops. During my days with Vostro 1400, with the defect Nvidia 840M GPU, Dell changed my whole motherboard... twice FOC!

At least with the Acer you don't need to spend more AND get your hand dirty to change the LCD like on the Dell 7567.

Once you save enough, top up another 4GB RAM and add a M.2 SATA drive or OS and games you play often.

That's interesting! I really thought they make it like 7559 where you can just screw in a SSD. Is the cable and bracket expensive? If it is not, I think it is a worthwhile purchase and add a SSD for OS.

I don't play DOTA, but I think using a HDD shouldn't affect your gaming experience in terms of in game FPS. Just need to wait a bit longer for the level to load, that's all.

I'm sure the Dell is going to sell 7567 with 1080p IPS panel soon, they're just trying to max out their profit because they know people who can't wait will buy he shitty TN panel or the overpriced 4K panel.

It's already an option in the US for HD IPS.

Gigabyte Aero 15 has been released. It is 1" wider but 0.8" shorter than Alienware 13 R3, but sports a 15" screen. Heck, it weight the same as the XPS 15, and only 15cm taller! It is almost as slim as the XPS15!

It has a GTX 1060 inside!

I'm planning to get gl 553 i5, now suddenly pop up 7567 IPS. Damn, should I wait? I quite urgent actually. Lol
*
From my experience in buying Dell directly online, you need to wait at least 1-2 weeks. Unless they don't have stock like the guy have said. I'm sure they got many Inspiron 7567 stock, they only need to put in the IPS panel, which is damn easy.

Give it a try, order from the website.
