As the entry level model in Dell’s gaming lineup, the Inspiron 7000 Gaming is understandably modest in hardware. All configurations feature an Nvidia GeForce 960M GPU, with the base model powered by a 6th-generation Intel Core i5 processor 4GB of DDR3L RAM, a 1TB 5400rpm hard drive, and a 15.6-inch Full HD display.

The new Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming laptop will be available from November, with the base model starting from RM3,499.

does that means we wont be getting the new inspiron with 1050 or 1050Ti for a very long time ?

kaby lake processor only unveiled the U series, HQ , MQ not yet

well then really seems nothing worth waiting for the new inspiron 7000

i didn't buy 7559 because waiting for updated ones with 7th gen proc and 1050

if the cooling efficiency and keyboard feedback is good, this is a good initiative.
HOWEVER, those whom owned 7559, don't ever need to consider this refreshed model.

if I got extra money I will spend on desktop rather than laptop
as laptop mainly for college purpose and some light gaming

but then, it's really no point if you own an old model and plan to upgrade to the newer model but with the same specs.

same spec totally no point, even with ddr4 ram
dell at least wait kabylake or newer GPU (such as gtx 1050, 1060, etc...) then only announce refresh model
guess Dell soon will introduce another refresh model due to kabylake and successor of gtx 1050, 1060
