Yeah ? Maybe not. The fraudster im dealing with bought many things from marketplace and filed dispute for all of them. And yet the issuer bank favors him. I cant even get the details of the scammer. His number no longer contactable and i cant be sure whether his name were real or not

I wonder how PayPal can survive ....

They are always in favour of buyers aka scammers...

I am still wondering why many sellers are still wanna use Paypal as their payment partner.

The reason PayPal able to survive because they got take a bit more responsibility than local card payment gateway services.
Look at the charges and the service level provided by local player, many sellers have no choice but stick to PayPal.
For example if you look at Lelong Netpay service agreement, the protection is only to protect the buyer not seller unlike last time Safetrade.com.my.

I read one post here before and we taught the seller to report to police and sent over the report to the merchant to raise the concerns and at the end, the seller won the case and the merchant released the funds to the seller.

You will need to fight for your own if all shipments are properly documented and you can show the shipment evidence.

I did report to local police before, in the end PayPal freezed my account for god sake half a year.
That's how they providing their service, they even banned my credit card.

You meant the bank banned your credit card or PayPal?

For PayPal, no matter how good you keep the proof of shipment, they are in favour of buyer before you. Unlike local merchant, you have to fight.. For PayPal, no way.

Paypal banned my credit card; which means if other seller sent me an invoice to make payment my card will be block to make the payment.

Just don't use it la.

We have bitcoin now.. No need to worry about chargeback.

bitcoin is useful but too volatile for now, still waiting for stable currency may be Jcoin from Japan banks.
