so far... GPS for n4 is very good.. lock on maybe few seconds slower than the nexus... lock on slower but still works great... hehe..

Guys, if i buy 3rd party battery (such as sunglobal battery), can i still fast charge the phone? Or only original battery can do that?

Should be no problem. Cause fast charge need a phone & charger which support fast charge feature.

i have not checked out this debloater's disable app... but if its not removing the apps and only disable... we can already do it from Android it self, no? i think settings -- applications -- go to application settings and click DISABLE/ TURN OFF.

not all can be disabled though, some are brand locked not to be allowed to disabled

As I understand how the utility works:

1. Removal of system apps is possible if phone is rooted
2. If unrooted, can block/disable system apps which can't be otherwise disabled using the usual Android UI.

Original battery+charging case is RM180 here but unfortunately, I'm a little bit short of fund now & I really need my phone for work now . Already got an AAA battery for RM50 with 3 months shop warranty & it works just fine with fast charger. Will change to original one at the end of this month as I'm also not very confident with it, hehe.

BTW, already upgraded to 5.1.1 using wanamlite rom & I'm quite shocked to see the performance. My Note 4 flies. Coming straight from 4.4.4, I feel everything is so snappy now. Recent app button react quickly after being press. No more 1-2 second waiting.

Andrewtst and my Note 4's GPS, very similar (16m is ~ 52ft), he noted in XDA he tested in a room under pillow,
I made a similiar test.



My old Xperia T under similiar conditions.


From the few pics, it's hard to draw a conclusion to what's wrong with some of Note 4's GPS issue.
It's not like it's unusable if you use most modern navigation software (it'll mask most issues so the end user never
even realise how poor their GPS is till it looses the signal.)

It's revealing if you can use a software that is able to force smart lane detection off, you'll see lane hopping.
Worse when you're trying to tag places.

Different phones have varying degree of accuracy, even if you have a Note 4 with this issue, it's still totally useable for navigation purpose
and might not ever notice it unless you're trying to contribute to some mapping data where it becomes quite unreliable.
