Just inherited my wife's note 4, she upgraded to a note 5.. Can't believe that for the first time ever, I am happy using a non-rooted android device - just debloated the stock rom, loaded Nova prime and an icon pack, and otherwise using the phone as is. Not a bad phone this note 4

QUOTE(firstknight @ Oct 31 2015, 05:26 PM) The debloater 'disable app' action is similar to TB app freeze, but just without requiring root, and have to do it from the PC.

QUOTE(mydragoon @ Nov 4 2015, 09:27 AM) i have not checked out this debloater's disable app... but if its not removing the apps and only disable... we can already do it from Android it self, no? i think settings -- applications -- go to application settings and click DISABLE/ TURN OFF. As I understand how the utility works: 1. Removal of system apps is possible if phone is rooted 2. If unrooted, can block/disable system apps which can't be otherwise disabled using the usual Android UI. This post has been edited by kmrdeva: Nov 4 2015, 09:56 AM
