Look like u r not the buyer but something make u unhappy with EW.
To be frank, I am not from construction line but my family is from construction background but base in Johor.
If the quality of house really so bad, better highlight to EW management ASAP better than wait til house VP.

Of coz I can not comment much based on ur photos coz I hv not refer these photos to my family member.
Even I show them. I believe they will say better go n c the act site.
By the way, since u dare not to answer u r buyer or not.
I think something is not right.

Whether he is 'fat lan za' or else .. but he indeed show the proof of bad quality construction , so may v just focus on the quality issue and dont keep attack each other , as told from jason gor regarding the issue is raised to top management which is very good for all EW buyer, so actually v got to thx the guy who post all these shit instead of attacking him . just my opinion

Are you in the construction field? Based on the pictures posted, can you pin point which picture shows a bad quality construction? What should be the correct way to do it?

For those plastering, it looks uneven for sure.. But is this the final layer? I presume there will be more layer(s) to be applied later on? Is it the first layer must be very a smooth surface? Any other picture from other project to benchmark?

I appreciate if there can be more elaborations.

Dear friend, I have personally bought properties from few top developers, I can tell u EcoWorld is one of the developer that always wiling to listen to purchasers.

Btw, 1 buyer if found any misconduct of defects should go personally and share us with points and facts. If more people found it, then only form a RA to do so but to seek clarification instead of complaints.

Thats great if u able to bring up this issue for all of us to alert and be cautious anyway. But 1 unable to represent all owners to say that developer is owing us an answer bcz there were 600 buyers of Cradleton and if accumulate all houses, thats 1500 todate.

That's true. To request EW to allow each buyer to go into site for inspection is not feasible as well, in both time arrangement and safety.

Therefore, I would be appreciated if someone in the construction field can compile a list of defects / bad workmanship based on the pictures shared and send to the developer for verification/rectification. After that, share with us the response from EW on the matter. If you need the purchasers' support, mention the report reference number here (if applicable or any obvious indicator) and I personally will lodge the support and chase EW for explanation.

Blindly share some site pictures and condamn upside down won't help anyone, although you are purchaser yourself. Most essentially, layman like me don't understand if it is that bad quality and thus need the constructive remarks from those in the line. sweat.gif sweat.gif

I can tell you my unit had reached the plastering claim stage ie the billing now is on the roof stage. So, whatever defects will be hidden and in due time the poor workmanship will show up....

You can see from the below picture the bricks should not be standing being plaster as the weight and the plaster will not stand the weight in due time and it will crack as most bricks are laid lying down n not laid lying up.

Just a dumb question from a layman, laying the bricks vertically shall cause the cracks, how about those laying in slanted manner? Is it all the bricks must be laid horizontally to avoid cracks in future? hmm.gif hmm.gif hmm.gif

This is interesting. I am learning too.
5.1.3 All clay bricks shall be soaked in a suitable tank or pit to be provided by the
Contractor for at least half an hour before being laid and shall be kept wet whilst
being laid. The top of walls left off shall be thoroughly wet before work is
resumed. All constructed walling must be left wet and properly protected from the
direct sunlight during the following day. The Contractor shall provide sufficient
means to ensure that this is done.
