i completed my order at 12:07am, received a sms from DiGI regarding the order by 12:10am following with the invoicing email from at 4am...

DiGi is selling RM3495 with RM1654 discounts.

But this RM3495 not inclusive GST where we need to paid RM209.70

Hence: RM3495 + RM209.70 + RM1654 (discount) total: RM5358???

as you can see, we are actually paying RM3495 + RM209.70 (GST) = RM3704.70 for the phone.
Plan 138 got RM1654 discount.

so, RM3704.70 + RM1654 = RM5358.70 (Digi RRP)

whereby Apple official RRP is only RM5149.00

so we are paying additional RM209.70 to Digi? or the discount is actually not RM1654?

I think other telcos just mentioned the price of the device after discount, and all exclusive of GST. DiGi mentions the discount off the RRP and so it’s misleading as the device RRP is inclusive of GST.

But i dis lodged a complaint to digi and they told me they will changed the discount pricing on their website...

And it’s already changed!! So efficient

digi facebook's representatives actually admit they are selling the 256gb at rm5899(excluded gst)

That particular person handing the FB account at that time is poorly trained in handling inquiries. Try asking again today, you might get a different answer
