Hahah, then iPhone 7 camera for photo is good enough, unless your want the Bokeh effect (wait for iOS 10.1). biggrin.gif

Anyway i just Joking, I always a fans of small phone, use 6,6s until this generation stupid Apple, I have no choice but go for 7 Plus.

And i realize, ya, its big but if you use those VERY VERY minimal case, you can still use it without problem (one hand also can). But if you buy more protective case then cannot. biggrin.gif

I'm light user, monthly 2gb data is enough for me
If buy outright I also need to subscribe data monthly, why don't I tied to Digi for 1 year to sign up that postpaid 48 plan for iPhone 7 whistling.gif
*
Simple calculation for iphone 7 128 gb

Buy with plan iDiGi 48
Device - RM 3,185.00 + 6% gst = 3,376.10
Package - RM 48/ month + 6% gst = 50.88/mth x 24 = 1,211.12 (considering 2 years contract and you dont exceed calls whatsoever.)

Total ownership cost = 4,597.22

Buy outright
Device - RM 3,699.00
Package - cheapest now rm 50/mth + 6% gst = 53/mth x 24 = 1,272.00

Total ownership cost = 4,971.00

Difference of RM 373.78 for 2 years and you get way more data with no contract and can change your plan at any time u want.

FYI this is DiGi plan.

You can get even lower total ownership cost
Device outright - 3,699
Package for 2 years - 712.32
Total ownership cost over 2 years = 4,411.32

Cheaper by RM 185.90 if you know how to find.

Anyway, nothing much can be done with 2 gb. Basically you only use an average of about 67 mb a day?

I will go for 7
currently using note 4, similar size to 7+, but 7+ is slightly longer
quite tired in using bigger phone, they are good but heavier, yet I prefer use in one hand laugh.gif

well, you can't do the calculation in that way
as it only got 1 year contract laugh.gif
right now I am using hotlink prepaid, RM 30 / 2gb data per month
if I buy outright

1 Year Contract comparison
Device Outright : RM 3,699
Data : RM 30
Total : RM 3,699 + (RM 30*12 months) = RM 4,059

1 year Contract for Digi
Device : RM 3185 * 1.06 = RM 3,376.10
Data : RM 48 * 1.06 * 12 months = RM 610.56
Total : RM 3986.66

conclusion, Digi 1 year contract is cheaper RM 72.34, with extra 1gb data and 100 minutes free call and sms

if 2 years
Device Outright : RM 3,699
Data : RM 30
Total : RM 3,699 + (RM 30*24 months) = RM 4,419

2 year Contract for Digi
Device : RM 3185 * 1.06 = RM 3,376.10
Data : RM 48 * 1.06 * 24 months = RM 1,221.12
Total : RM 4,597.22

conclusion, slightly expensive RM 178.22, and each month I pay extra around RM 14.85 for another 12 months
so I don't see any reason why I don't want sign contract from Digi, yet I live in Klang Valley, coverage should not an issue

i'm not sure about current 48 iphone plan. when my sis sign up at the launching, the data is 5gb in total. 3gb is the original data and on top of it additional 2gb foc for the whole contract. so consider worth it la

Like I said, considering a tight budget it is wiser to buy outright, you can have more options. cheaper options.

IMHO, if I can afford an iPhone why be so stingy on plans? I am on contract with DiGi 148. No regrets. Still it's my opinion.
