Just bought 1 from city chain here in sabah. Last stock. Managed to get 25% disc from msrp 1800. Made comparison with sne537 Street series tuna but turned off with misaligned bezel. This sne518 alignment are spot on.

I found 1 as well. Got it through online from a watch shop from Kuantan tho. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm looking for something as below:

Sport watches
No specific preference on design
Prefer case size: 42mm
Strap size: 20mm
Interchangable with NATO / steel strap
Automatic range
Budget: around 1.5k or below
*
I think monsters and a few others like SNE439 fits your criteria. The best 20mm from seiko would be the sumo but it’s slightly higher than your current budget if you know where to hunt.

Apart from the design. The most notable would be the 4r36/35. It’s considered the same movement, only difference would be the day/date?

SBDC033 going for 1.55k. Worth to buy? Or rather what’s the common selling price?

You can try to ask Kedai Jam GTC via FB. They’re from Kuantan. Bought a couple of watches from them. 100% trusted and competitive pricing as well.

Never buy any watch from those retail chain stores before. Either bought from those uncle watch shops or those independent resellers.

what is grey market? imported straight from other sources? not original?
*
Grey market sellers are non AD. They either source directly from the manufacturer or AD hence they can always sell the same watch(es) at a much lower price. At least that is happening non luxury watches.

thanks for the info. rclxms.gif

so is it better to just purchase from creationwatches or timeyourtime (lazada)?

Noticed their price are not too attractive. You can try to ask https://www.facebook.com/Kedai-Jam-GTC-1105496689546653/

I’ve bought a few of them, very competitive pricing and since you don’t mind purchasing over the net. Just tell him Marcus from Seiko Diver Malaysia(SDM) recommended you to him. My SRPC91 was just posted earlier in the afternoon lol.

could find for like rm250-350.

i also doubt it's NH movement... someone would need to buy one to find out tongue.gif
if really NH, would be a good mod base...

Their pricing are quite competitive, both of my save the ocean sne518p1 and srpc91k1 from them. The packaging was good too.

Bonetto Cinturini 300D.

The strap colour works very well with this watch because it picks up the various whites of the dial and bezel. In other words, the strap is not a disjointed element distinctly different from the watch head (as would be the case with brown leather or most natos), but seems to be a visual continuation that is congruous with the watch head.

You could also use a black strap, but black is a non-colour. By definition, black absorbs all light. Matt black as a strap is like having no strap, leaving just the watch head as the object of interest. Originally, this padi edition comes with a navy blue strap, but it is so dark as to be almost black.

A red strap would echo the red portion of the bezel and the minute hand. I tried a red perlon strap and it's also a pretty good match. I imagine a blue strap that matches the blue of the bezel would also work.

The advantage of white is its sheer brightness. It's also an uncommon strap colour. It gives the watch a huge amount of sportiness and youth.

I'd like to try an orange strap with it some day.

Mind to share where you bought it?

Well, TBH my STO turtle’s chapter ring is misaligned. No choice as it’s a purchase through the net, but seriously it doesn’t bother me 1 bit. It’s not like I can’t tell the time from looking at it lol.
