So Taiwan first to get "made in Japan" turtles. Let's see if the QC is better.
From the picture of the 777 i notice the 6 o'clock indice is centered at 30 min which is good. K models nearer to 29 min.

Maybe its the weather kut.

It works better with long sleeve or sweater. Mine hibernates during summer too.

The black dial version looks better whatever the weather .

u cannot polish hardlex by hand.
go replace it.
logic dictates u ask the official distributor thong sia.

I miss good old acrylic. Wack it hard against door knob and just
need quick polish to look like new again. Good ones will last 20 years without cracking or yellowing.

Hi guys, how long is the repairing lead time if send back to thong sia for warranty claim?
I have sent mine back to the watch shop on 2/Jan due to screw down crown unable to screw in.
Until today I unable to get any progress while only being informed that watch not yet returned, if no spare parts need to order from Japan and requires 2 to 3 months.
It seems like a long waiting game for Seiko warranty claim.

If cross thread they might reject warranty and you need to pay.

My Tong Sia appointed distributer quoted me RM2050 for the latest Sumo inclusive of gst and with local warranty. It is interesting to note that this price is almost the same as from seiya which is USD475 + gst.
It is also good to know Tong Sia can now service our Sumo.

ur just arguing for arguments sake la.
if currently after discount u can get thongsia sumo for the same price as what seiya sells (as what someone previously posted) , when previously local thongsia were easily 30% more... what does that say?
*
I think Tong sia have reduced their margin significantly for example i bought my Tong sia. SRP777 for RM1075 before gst which is the same as SG Skywatch USD 270 .
The same dealer couldn't come close to skywatch previously.

Tong sia price for SRP777 only RM1075 before gst? Tht's good price

Yes but you must find a dealer willing to give steep discount. I was told Tong Sia don't allow discount more than 20% so you must find these dealers in forums, mudah lelong or PM me lol.

If flat sapphire ,it will look same as original hardlex . Only domed sapphire will change the watch appearance.

sapphire crystal from one of the LE sumos la...means AR coating on inside only.

Don't think the sumo LE sapphire has any AR coating. Strong reflection and no color tinge at all.

Another addition after my Monster. Was undecided between this or the Coke(SRP789), but ended up with this cause it looks better on my wrist. The quest continue, next would be a Sumo. Hv to save up.

I am saving for this. Will take forever lol
