mygamercardnet database works in mysterious ways

their database tracks all accounts - xbox only GTs, silver GTs, gold GTs as long as the privacy settings for the GT is public.

as long as someone view his/her gamercard or gamercard profile, the GT will be autoranked. no need to register as MGC member.

u can recover gamertag via xboxlive. but transferring gamesaves very mafan w/o official memory card. can always swap the HDD between old & new machines

welll the fat ps1 did have a plastic/spindle in the middle holding the cdrom, so u can place it whatever position (mine was vertical) my fat ps2 also works better if i place it slanted/diagonal (the right/dvd-rom side is higher).

for 360, if u just playing off HDD (demo, xbla, videos) placing in upside down or diagonal should be ok! i'm thinking of placing the power brick upside down cos the bottom part is always much hotter than the top

my thanks to hikaru_x (he was the 1st one to announce the p-a sales) & goodspeed (he spotted cheap halo2). surprisingly, the games arrive (free shipping) quick & safe. only thing is, no more p-a stickers? LoL

a extra cooler/fan is not neccesary. if u gonna prepare xtra cooling (laptop cooler, anyone?), make sure its drawing power from the usb port and not the power plug port.
