I've had Singaporean, Malaysian, Japanese, USA, UK accounts since the PS3 days, not one of them got into trouble even despite my downloading a heap of free stuff that might be/were sold on other region stores. it's region free. But this is MGO, so expect to play with A LOT of Japanese players. It'll be a minor miracle if you manage to get a local host.
Red ping is a normal occurrence in this game..quirky third person shooters like MGO does not do well with the general "shoot first, ask questions later" market
Alright thanks. One note things regarding transferring save data from GZ to TPP, it doesn't matter what region is the save data is right? Or that it would not recognise different region save? Sorry for the noob question

R1 and R3 interchangeable. (Confirmed, as my GZ was a R1 copy, both my TPP are R3..never opened/played my R2-Japanese- TPP, but if past experience is any indication, it won't work due to region incompatibility)

R2 TPP requires R2 GZ.
Too bad then for me. I actually I bought GZ without asking the seller what region it is and it's already shipped. Let's see how my luck goes. Anyway thanks for explanation.
Haiyo my based used to be upgraded till 4 platform all deck ready with 95% security devices fully upgraded. When I saw 3 attacker infiltrated the base with almost all upgraded security weapon/defense point in less than 2 minute, I stop playing fob. Now 4 months never log in d, I thinkmy base left the DDog pet house on the deck only.
The multiplayer was fun. Damon fulton devices lol...

now just concentrate on upgrading 4/4 then leave it to play other games.
Just hope to give some heads up. I was using the highest security with lol 7-8 rank weapons with max mines/survailiance camera, all fob max platform deck. Busy farmed s, S++ soldiers and the result wasn't very overwhelming. The time spent wasn't worth while when I see my base getting rob regardless of max setting. But the grind and operation was fun

yup, yup.. same here.. each platform already reach level 59, 8mines + 2cameras free placement with up to *8 weapons..
i just want to try and achieve some more weapons upgrade (require level 120+ units), hence the 4/4 platform upgrade target..

but just as Poodlepaddly said.. the moment i upgrade everything, an invader costs me 2x S+ and 8x S soldiers.. ah, hell.. time to focus on other games..
FOB Event Freedom of Oppression finishing today. Not much points gained, 12k+/run.. changed target platform from Base Development to Medical to farm medicinal plants..

well, it's the story about those who survive the MB attack at the end of GZ lol. those soldiers that u need to rescue in TPP. no wonder they looks like zombie maybe bcoz too tired fighting zombies in other dimension
