hmm i think... its the same reason why the iphone 6s base model is 16gb, and there is no 32gb model. The Official iPhone 6s/6s+ Discussion Thread | V2, Get yours from Apple Online Store now!

QUOTE(KaiHD @ Oct 13 2015, 08:23 PM) on Celcom website they have an iPhone plan, with complimentary 12gb data. anyone know what that's about? faq not saying much. If i may add. The comparison is inaccurate and unfair.also, thanks to technave.com, i got this chart. i don't understand why Umobile is the most expensive over 24 months, especially since they're supposed to rebate the upfront payment. [attachmentid=5116844] As previously mention GST was not included. Also this comparison is made with the assumption of you would be spending RM85-100 a month regardless of the phone price as a baseline which is highly inaccurate comparison. There are also alot of other factors to consider. The preferred way IMO is to decide on what do we really need first? Eg, If unlimited phone calls and sms is what we need, then we should compare Umobile i90 with Maxis one plan 128 only. Kindly take note that umobile i90 plan is similar to P70 plan + RM20. while maxis plan is unchanged. Umobile would cost RM 5930.7 for a 24month iphone 6splus 128gb while Maxis would cost RM6717.22 for a 24month iphone 6splus 128gb (note: umobile has additional 4gb extra than Maxis)\ Another factor to consider is getting the phone with contract or buying the phone individually. There are several other factors and some people would made the calculations and realize it maybe cheaper to buy the phone alone without the contract. |

QUOTE(JaredLeto @ Oct 14 2015, 09:03 AM) Haha chill bro. Why are u so upset with what i said? Its just my opinion. But like i said. Ppl bought RG for showing off. And because its Apple! U really think a straight guy with their right mind wants to own a pink phone? Think again. Uve been brainwashed by Apple that pink is good for everyone. Literally everyone. Dont worry. There is a saying. Who eat the chilly he feel the hot hot.Added just for the fun: |

QUOTE(OKLY @ Oct 17 2015, 09:35 PM) When in low power mode, is there any way to allow certain apps to still have background refresh and notification? I'd still like to have my messaging apps to come through as when I'm on low power mode, I have been missing out on messages. do u mean apps like whatsapp are affected in lower power mode? |

QUOTE(OKLY @ Oct 17 2015, 10:24 PM) Yea should be because the messages only come in when I open the app so I believe apps are not allowed of any background activity as well in low power mode. I do not use ios 9 so i cannot guide u directly. If im not wrong, whatsapp uses APNS to receive notification. Somewhere you may have disabled it by accident? Does the problem persist after disabling low power mode. Try alter between wifi and mobile data too. |

People said IOS is smooth, I own Ipad mini but it doesn't feel very smooth, quite laggy sometimes, maybe haven't update to latest IOS? I mainly use whatsapp, youtube, Insta, camera and photo editing, which 1 should I go for? Most of the stuff are quite generally what ppl used before. |

QUOTE(Ch3n_low @ Oct 22 2015, 02:17 PM) I tried 6s in apple store last week. I tried to use the 3D touch and arrange the apps. Can control the pressure of pressing. When trying to arrange apps then go in to 3D touch d... You guys facing this problem or not i think the apple official stores has a demo software installed that prevent customers from deleting the apps. The actual iphone 6s has no issue. |

QUOTE(Ch3n_low @ Oct 22 2015, 04:05 PM) depends.. do u mean intentionally or unintentionally.. LolPut it this way... Imagine u have always been using a computer mouse with only 2 buttons. Then suddenly someone made a mouse with the middle scrolling button. And at the point of invention, not many softwares utilize the middle /scroll button. I feel the 3D touch is not essential for now but rather to encourage developer to develop apps with 3d touches. Its unknown territory for now. As for all new features, lot of unknown problems will emerge later on. My biggest worry is, as for all buttons, there is a limited number of "clicks" before the button wore out. Are u interested in iphone 6s? |

QUOTE(f5calvin @ Oct 22 2015, 04:30 PM) What do u mean by battery life?Im assuming that u meant long term battery health. indirectly i believe it does. Heat wears the battery out faster. Charging generates heat. Using the phone also generates heat. |

QUOTE(f5calvin @ Oct 22 2015, 04:39 PM) Hmmm battery health will degrade. Theres no way to prevent it.Averagely battery capacity will drop to 50% by 4 years. Keeping it charge overnight has similar degrading effects with draining the battery down overnight and recharging back in the morning. Unless u can somehow keep the battery at 40-70% battery. What some of us did, is we use a slow charging cable that would slowly bring the charge up over night and reach almost 100% in the morning. Keeping battery at 100% for hours is like keeping an elastic band at maximum stretched for hours. |

QUOTE(Ch3n_low @ Oct 22 2015, 04:49 PM) of course interested bro. currently using iphone 6, still thinking of getting one but seem like not much upgrade from my i6 well u already have a IP6. The biggest bump is probably ram, camera mpix, 3d touch. But u may suffer less battery life.Just curious what do u really want in the iphone. that will help us in decision to change or not. |

QUOTE(Kayaroti @ Oct 24 2015, 08:10 PM) personally i would suggest u go to umobile store sign the cheapest plan for eg ip6s 64gb market price is 3699 wif umobile i40 plan total initial payment is 3121.70 and the most important thing is after 1 month u can call to umobile request to terminate the plan and pay the subsidy fees of RM254.40 whr in total still cheaper than market price about RM300 ++-- QUOTE(kamikraze @ Oct 24 2015, 09:01 PM) QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Oct 25 2015, 10:02 AM) Are you sure about this? Have you tried doing so yourself. Do not simply state what you heard from others and mention it here without learning it yourself as some other forummers may try what you claim. Personally, I do not think U Mobile will let you off the hook so easily. If everybody does that and gets away with it, they will be running on losses. Do check your facts and if possible try it out yourself first. I remember earlier on Umobile stated the RRP of their apple iphones 6s/6s+ was -RM200 from the RRP but later removed before launched. Their planes however did not changed and reflected the amount paid if one were to subscribe and immediately terminate. (interesting fact: RM200 seems to be the magic number is discount from some of the telcos, suggesting Apple may have allowed them to lower by RM200. It isnt very obvious but if one were to take their the RRP, subtract with their offered iphone price and further subtract with the monthly plan difference of iphone 6s/6s+ vs normal postpaid plan divided by 24 and eliminate the rebates and hidden charges, it will always land on close to RM 200 cheaper than RRP) (interesting fact 2: I have too much time) But telco's arent the only one using this RM200, some customers bought their iphone from official apple stores, managed to haggle the iphone prices down and lower is RM200 max from the RRP. I am not sure if its related or coincidence. It does sound too good to be true... as apple heavily controls their iphone prices, and knowing umobile telco, im not surprised either if umobile may use this "loophole" to sell their iphones at cheaper price. Also, they do realize their popularity isnt as good as the other 3 major telcos, so by offering contract free, allows customer to try out their service without heavy commitment. This technique is already applied on their other postpaid plans. Im sorry i cannot give source quotes for this sensitive issues. Its up to individual to do their own research from here.
