QUOTE(krofal @ Oct 16 2015, 02:43 PM) Hi guys, planning to get the iphone later from Machines after work. Anyone has knowledge or experience of whether I can EPP from Machines? But better you check with Machines if you can take an EPP for iPhone as I know some Apple resellers have EPP but not for iPhone.I saw that the Machines Outlet is one of the participating merchant on Maybank's EPP list. |

QUOTE(luke00 @ Oct 16 2015, 03:06 PM) I think both OS are good but I feel Android is much suited for those who really take advantage of the flexibility of it and most must go through the rooting process.iOS may seem like a very restricted system but as the old saying goes, "it just works". |

QUOTE(attw @ Oct 16 2015, 06:09 PM) Oh no... I forgotten that unifi-App Store issue... gonna be a nightmare to restore all my apps... Arrrgh!!! Try updating at wee hours, yesterday I reached home about 3.30am and all the app updates were blazing fast. Just now when installing new apps, the speed is kinda crawling again. |

QUOTE(amoxacilin @ Oct 16 2015, 06:57 PM) So many stocks at Machines this time around. Not like previous years. Yea, I think telcos and Apple resellers had overestimated the demand this time.I'm just drop by at Machines to see the 6S hype at 2PM today. Not planning to buy. But after seeing so much stock, very tempted to get one! Hahaha! No que or booking whatsoever. [attachmentid=5135236][attachmentid=5135237] |

When in low power mode, is there any way to allow certain apps to still have background refresh and notification? I'd still like to have my messaging apps to come through as when I'm on low power mode, I have been missing out on messages.

QUOTE(angelflames @ Oct 17 2015, 07:49 PM) am I just crazy, or did the screen protector for iPhone 6 wouldnt fit on iPhone 6s? I tried 3 different brand, and all have the same problem. Anyone here tried any screen protector that worked on their 6s? Yes it's like that for now, so better not buy expensive ones first. I've went through few tempered glass which are really cheap and all have the same problem as the expensive ones so it's more to the glass curve in the 6s.edit: further googling reveals that I am not completely out of my mind. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7246714 wtf apple. |

QUOTE(FluffyTee @ Oct 17 2015, 09:42 PM) Yea should be because the messages only come in when I open the app so I believe apps are not allowed of any background activity as well in low power mode.QUOTE(vez @ Oct 17 2015, 10:12 PM) I think the film ones should be slightly better since they tend to be more flexible, even if it does not stick properly it should still be less obvious than a tempered glass.I've tried tempered glass from Nillkin, Remax and Loca, all show the same issue at the edge of the display which is probably where the glass starts to curve. However, it is still acceptable to me so I'll continue using it until a company releases a tempered glass which is 100% compatible with the 6s, it is now only 95% compatible in my opinion. |

QUOTE(Jestarz @ Oct 17 2015, 10:41 PM) But for the tempered glass.. does 3D touch work? I bought a Nillkin iPhone 6 Plus tempered glass today (rounded). As far as I know, many have mentioned that as long as the glass is not thicker than 0.3mm it should work. All the tempered glass I tried is 0.3mm and have no issues with 3D Touch.QUOTE(attw @ Oct 17 2015, 10:45 PM) That is strange coz even in low power mode I get my Whatsapp and text messages. I'm assuming you have Background App Refresh on for those essential apps right? Yea, Background App Refresh is on. I'll try to reinstall the app and see. |

QUOTE(CAFE21 @ Oct 17 2015, 11:07 PM) Hi, is the iPhone screen looks a bit yellowish normal? The screen near d fringe of the phone looks a bit dark if view from diff angle. I tried to download d apps seems to take me ages. Anyone experiencing d same? It's a new phone right? Wait a while and see if it improves, some say that this kind of issue is due to some sort of glue inside the display that have not fully cured and will go over with time/use but I'm not too sure how true this is.This post has been edited by OKLY: Oct 17 2015, 11:09 PM |

Does the 6s have lower cellular reception? I used to be able to get strong 4G signal with my previous phone but now the signal is too low on the 6s that it is connecting to 3G only. Same experience in my house where previously it is full bar 4G but now it is about half only.

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Oct 19 2015, 12:16 PM) Mine 6s+ has the same signal strength from my previous 6 and 6+. So no. Did you migrate from another phone model? QUOTE(nemesis94 @ Oct 19 2015, 12:31 PM) I also seem to only get 3G signal Maxis data while I can get 4G on Android phones. Hopefully there's a solution for this. Same as nemesis94, coming from an Android phone. |

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Oct 19 2015, 03:01 PM) Are you using any backcovers? Some backcovers especially the thick and gungho protectitive phones do obstruct the antenna hence affecting signal strength. I'm using a Spigen Case Capsule but I don't think it's that thick.Otherwise, there are no known issues with the 6s/6s+ signal reception at the moment. |

Why is it so difficult to get AirDrop to work? Both 6s can't seem to find each other even when AirDrop is selected to show everyone.
