After so long, didn't see anyone commenting on the LTE-A features? Any significant difference in speed compared to IP6? Or because of telco limitation on LTE, there is no difference between IP6 and IP6S?
*
Yes, with some of our telcos, can get stable 3G also laugh already, what more LTE, ha ha

Attw, how is ios9.1 doin for your ip6s plus? Any bugs experienced so far?
*
So far no major issues. I have intermittent problems with my Touch ID, but it works fine on my iPad Air 2, so I'm beginning to think it's a hardware issue. It doesn't happen often enough to be a bother so I don't plan to bring the phone back for warranty claim until just before warranty period is over, heh heh...

I beg to differ. Android will still be my main choice while the ip6 remains secondary phone. I am just turn off by its closed file system which makes file management so darn inconvenient
The only impressive stuff of the ip6s+ is battery life n insanely quick fingerprint recognition. Other stuffs I prefer Android more. And I had used all the ip series except ip5s.
Nevertheless the ip6 is a good phone for users who doesn't need more flexibility from the phone
*
Agree, that's the one thing about iOS that turns me off. From a work point of view, using an Android tablet is faster and more productive, especially when the native email app allow you to attach just about any file you like, and not just photos. USB OTG is also a God sent.

Apple want to lock u I their ecosystem that is why. Force u to use I cloud to attach docs and ppt.
With their proven record of software support , I am happy to be in the system. Unlike 3rd parties out there that is only happy to sell hardware.

Now pardon me while I go download Transistor game bought in iPad, and play it for free in Apple TV.
*
Yeah, I know. Maybe when our RM recovers I may consider an iCloud subscription coz my free limit's almost up, ha ha...

And a very large data quota from your network provider as well as  a unifi 30mb connection. Cloud is good for storage, but you reallly need fast and stable connections. Not to mention a large data quota too for use on the go.
*
Exactly right. Too bad those Surface tabs won't let me pop a sim card into them smile.gif

but still device price of i6s is higher
lol means the main line share its data with the second one?
let's say 5GB thn 2.5GB each line? or both line also 5GB?  hmm.gif
sorry get confused
*
Both lines will share the 5GB, there is no dividing it into equal halves.

The i6s price is high, no matter which telco you choose. Try to search for the article on lowyat.net for telco price comparison and you will see the total cost of ownership between all telcos is more or less similar with maybe a couple of hundreds difference. Ultimately you need to pick the telco that provides the better service in your area.

I half expected Anandtech to bash the 6S but was pleasantly surprised to read their conclusion...

Part of the reason why it is a good start to get 128gb sets. I think overall the 6s series is nicely future proofed for at least a few years down the road with higher ram and faster storage, two main components including with increased gpu at same res. Curious to see what's on the table for ip7 though.
*
Yes, it better last few years man, can't afford to keep upgrading Apple products biggrin.gif

QUOTE(Reventon @ Nov 3 2015, 07:08 PM)
Iphone 6 plus holds longer from 100 to 99 compare to 6s plus. I have tried 40 mins usage with around 2 hours standby it just drop to 99. 6s plus is much faster drop. In fact i felt my  6 plus battery is better
*
QUOTE(kaspersky-fan @ Nov 3 2015, 07:34 PM)
Yup that's what I've felt. After 2 hours standby it drips 5% from 100%. If you make a rough estimate, that works out to 40hours standby. That's quite the max I can get too. Was expecting more lol.
*
I concur. At first I thought I was the only one thinking this so I assumed it was psychological, ha ha. The 6 Plus really spoilt us silly with the battery life. The 6S Plus is great too but I feel it falls just little short of the 6 Plus.

Could be the additional 1GB RAM consuming more power, which is why Apple was reluctant to up the RAM till now, ha ha..

Looking at Apple's advancement rate for the iPhone, I would put my money on only the 7S receiving 3GB ram. For IPhone 7, it will still be 2GB.  nod.gif  IOS is so optimized that it doesn't require more ram.  tongue.gif
*
More likely to be iPhone 8S before we see 3GB RAM, if ever.

Much happier than owning last year 6 plus.
Anandtech Gold Award wor dun play play LOL

I second this. The 6 Plus of last year really should have been the 6S Plus of this year, but that's how Apple rolls...

No regrets whatsoever.
