I enjoyed the series overall, the characters build up, story progression; albeit S1 and S2 the pace is very slow, sometimes feel like skipping through them.

Just sedih the final season didn't get the usual 20+ episodes and need to settle with 13.

Tried watching the first season but got bored. This felt more CSI kinda movie but didn't know the follow up is into character development. Should I give another try?

the knight of quite good if you like The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story
It just in first episode this week the acting quite good nice story build up.

First few episodes yes it gives the appearance it's a kinda teen flick. Trust me, you enjoy it until the end of S3. I'm waiting if there's S4.
