Fallout is alot of fun. It's such a well made series that really capture the game's atmosphere and still managed to tell a good story with likable cast of characters.

Anyone watch fallout. I'm only on ep2 but I'm wondering at the beginning of ep1, the cowboy and his daughter, are they related to any of the current characters we are seeing?

Shogun ended, kinda mixed feeling about finale.

Definitely need 30mins more to flesh out the conclusion of the show. Spanish/portugal/black sails plot, ishido/ochiba plot is abit underdeveloped, also what happen to osaka post-war.

Macam limited by budget, episode limitation and runtime duration since FX is a cable TV.

Binged on second season of Them. Good effort, still preferred its first season.

To be fair, it was quite a faithful adaptation of the book ending. There were some deviations but the book don’t have large battles too at the end if I remember correctly.

Toronaga is based on Tokugawa Ieyesu and John is based on William Adams who are both real historical people. In real life William Adam became advisor for Shogun and managed to convince him to ban Portuguese from Japan.

Historically, nothing really happened to Osaka but the Shogun moved the capital to Edo which later became Tokyo during Meiji restoration.

As for Portuguese, they were expelled from Japan under the advise of real life Blackthorn but later the Dutch and English came and managed to have limited trade with Japan until Meiji era where Japan totally open itself to the world.

Baby Reindeer is such an uncomfortable watch. Seems this series is getting popular now due to it based on a true story and people being featured getting all pissy (the stalker).

Seems like an interesting story

edit: 3 episodes in, this is the uneasy kind of scary, not for me

edit 2: finished watching, I'll probably crumble if I was in that situation, also ending implies it never ends once you're broken
