Acolyte isn't that good writing wise and has lots of problem especially in the acting department, diversity isn't the reason for those thing to happen.

Also...just finished indonesian tv series Joko Anwar's Nightmares & Daydreams. Started off as a horror anthology but then turns out it's actually a.....supernatural Avengers? What a weird ass show.

Meh season for The Boys. Feels like this season is just a long winded teases for final season because Kripke is too scared to actually shake up the status quo.

Seems you can get 3 months of Apple TV+ when you sub to any streamer on Twitch while they are online, essentially making it only costing you RM8. Offer lasts until Aug 20.

If you don't mind old shows, The Exorcist series is available on Prime. First season in particular is great.

Isn't that Harlen Coben thing? Only good series of his IMO is Shelter on Amazon Prime and they cancelled it.

Finished Umbrella Academy. God what a terrible and rushed ending, the season starts out great too. I wonder if they only got the notice to wrap up everything in 6 episodes after filming eps 2.

Bad Monkey on Apple TV+ is pretty fun so far. Same creator and writer as Ted Lasso and Shrinking.

3 eps in and it's solid. First time I actually like Vince Vaughn playing himself.

Dexter quality fell off a cliff by season 7, though most people would say season 5 is when it turned mediocre. Season 4 however is the peak television.

Haven't yet. Feels like I keep hearing conflicting report on New Blood. Some people said it's even worse, some people said it redeems it.

Also...seems HBO Max will launch in Malaysia soon. They put "end of 2024" as the date since forever ago and it just launched in Japan, which like Amazon Prime Video will be the main video server for all asia I think.
Would make a great replacement for my 2 years free Disney+ subs ending. Will resub for Andor S2.

Nothing yet. Hoping that it's cheaper than HBO Go, but I doubt it.

Also love how efficient the production is. Every season's finale got a tease for next season.

Bad Monkey finale is pretty somber for a comedy series. Hope it gets a second season coz I really love the all the cast.
