How was Invasion s1? worth watching?
*
Nah...it's super boring, slow and cliche. The only good part about S1 is the japanese character storyline and the ending.
Heard S2 will be more about the aliens though so maybe it'll be good, but I doubt it.

nasib baik unker no waste time watching, but trailer look promising.

It is a very high budget show. And the alien and its spaceship design looks real ominous which is great, sadly S1 spent most of its runtime on the annoying human characters. But the showrunner said S2 will focus more on the aliens, so hmm.gif hmm.gif . Wait till S2 finish first to see if it's worth watching.

What’s with Netflix & HBO originals? Is there an agreement between both allowing Netflix to show some HBO series? Can we expect GOT on Netflix soon?
*
It's just their CEO Zaslav cost cutting measure. I doubt you'll be seeing recent hit shows like GOT, Westworld or The Last of Us on other streaming service anytime soon, just older popular shows.

Hope to see Six Feet Under, Big Love and Rome next. I know True Blood is coming later this month to Netflix.

And I'm slowly rewatching Smallville, Chuck and House too.

A new batman animated series?
*
No, the 90's one. Lots of WB stuff has been licensed outside of HBO Max streaming service and this is among them.

You wanna see the definitive portrayal of Batman and its villains on screen, this is it. Hope to see Superman TAS and Batman Beyond as well.

anyone watch Gen V?

Only 3 eps released and it's pretty good so far. The supes not being bunch of a-holes sure helps.
But this being The Boys, I'm sure they all gonna die a horrible death later.

I'm currently watching The Bear season 1 episode 6.

I don't get the hype for this drama. All I see is people keep yelling and screaming non stop each other. I know what it's like working in F&B line since I used to work in this industry.

But majority of the scene is yelling each other getting really unbearable to watch.

I'm not sure whether I want to continue watching or not. I feel like my IQ downgraded watching this drama and adding more stress while watching this drama.
*
That's the point tho, to make you stressful. It will get to a point where everybody settle down somewhat and tolerate each other. And I would say try to appreciate the acting and dialogues if you find engrossing into their interpersonal conflict and story gets too much. Lots of the dialogue is pretty humorous.

Doesn't seem Pantheon is available in our region's Prime. Gonna wait till it's officially release here so I can support the show proper.

Pluto is now available. Seems it adapted the whole manga, so each episode is like one hour long.

Saw Dexter and Yellowjackets added to Amazon Prime. No Dexter revival miniseries though, just the 8 seasons. I highly recommends Yellowjackets if you're looking for something similar to Lost.

Watching ep 2 now. Kind of slow burning compared to the first series.

I mean, why do you think they released 3 episodes at once.

Idk. Why?

Iinm Netflix releases all episodes of their series at the same time. Does it have anything to do with slow stories?
*
3rd episode is when stuff happen. It's similar to how Andor was released, 3 episodes for the first week and then 1 episode a week as usual. In case of Andor the first 2 episode are slow burn of introducing characters until the ending. Then 3rd episode is when stuff happened and he begins his journey.

Netflix is different coz their policy is always all episodes released at once, now with them sometime splitting a season in 2 parts.

All I'm saying is S2 is slower burning than S1. I have read the book S2 is based on - it didn't feel so draggy in the book.

In S1, a lot of the irrelevant bantering written in the book is omitted, making it so much better paced for me.
*
I'm not comparing it to book and has no interest in reading it, I'm just saying watch episode 3. There's a reason they released 3 episodes at once.
