Got my ipv3 li todei..n buy 30g ni200..what the best build?twisted?ohm n joule?

Did you get tempered/hardened Ni200? 30AWG is going to be rather soft and springy. YES you can twist 30AWG Ni200 to use. I have twisted 28AWG Ni200 but the resistance is too low. The resulting coil was to big to fit in the RBA. But 30AWG twisted will be fine.

Congrats man. Try getting the UD 28AWG Ni200 wire. I think its hardened. Pretty easy to work with.

I already bought evic vtc when that thing happened and at that time vtc rm169 ipvd2 rm230.

The fire shooting out of drip tip was first reported a long time ago. Thats why I cancelled my Evic VT order from the group buy here and waited for the D2.
Theres current complaints of the VTC jumping out of TC mode. I didn't bother to read that but if you're using a 0.05ohm Nickel coil and it jumps out of TC mode its gonna be scary.

Hopefully the wire can hold up.

im using Evic VTC mini as my backup mod. So far it performs well as i am using nextgen nickel 0.09ohm

How is the Nextgen? How do you think it'll compare to the Le Magister? Obviously they're not the same but for a new toy which do you reckon is better?

Not sure on that, if you go through that forum, he seems like ignoring the question when others asking which coil he's using. Nevertheless, it's very scary though. blush.gif

Read the whole thread and it seems like its over firing in VW mode. But theres a lot of complaints of it under firing in TC mode.

http://social.joyetech.com/showthread.php?tid=2200&page=5

It seems that the latest firmware hasn't fixed its Ti mode. I skimmed through some of the posts, but read of some putting the mod in the fridge to bring the temp down.
I know you've just bought the mod and all this is putting a damper on it. Just use it but don't push it to the limits.
