Ya ka?

I'm not 100% certain. Was informed verbally by the staff when I made the deposit. No real life experience as I'm not considering to withdraw my money anytime soon.

So cannot attest nor debunk.

Kena double-check.

How they seperate our top up fund? Direct goes to account 1? Only account 2 can take out for some purpose only.

I'll be monitoring the monthly interest given by MBB GIA-i 4.5%.

4.0% is for 6 months, gonna see if 7th month gives 4.07% and subsequent months with diff rate. would be interesting for month 11 and 12 biggrin.gif

based on calculation, it seems they are rolling every month for 12 months.
*
I heard the branch manager said they will announce their rate in every 16th of the month , so it may get lower or higher rate in case any changes e.g. Opr , etc

Ambank 4.55% for 5 years. Exceed 4.5% with PIDM. tongue.gif combine with Truesavers for effective rates of >4.55%! Interest paid semi-annually if one is <50 years old and monthly if >50years old.

Interest calculated daily and credited on the 1st of every month. If want to to apply better go branch cause if apply online still need to go branch to collect debit card and fingerprint. No rm8/year fees. biggrin.gif. Don't know how much is the limit. But you can set it yourself.
*
Debit card got rebate or not? Sound interesting... After i heard what u explain....

Hu.. one of the leng lui was sibeh sexy, I was thinking to take picture,
but noticed there was a sticker attached on the BSN glass door stating
not allowed to take picture...

In most banks, I guess more than 70% of FD depositors are Chinese lah..
Bumi can get 7%xx from Pos office, but I do not know what kind of saving account
it is..

When I look at BSN staffs slow working progress, I feel like I do not have confidence
in this bank..They give me an impression that they are not efficient..
*
ur 7% is mean amanah saham?quite interesting to know thats saving account although im not bumi. Hehe

Few years ago I saw a bumi holding a small book like a saving account book
in a post office, he told me he could get more than 7% of interest of his saving
account in post office.

I did not ask him further lah otherwise he thought I wanted to rob him, then how..??  cry.gif

Bumi got a lot of Kang Tao lah...

Last time a bank manager told me Bumi can make 4% free money by borrowing
personal loan from bank at 5% rate, then use this money to buy a government bond
to make 9% profit, but this will take several years to generate the profit.

Bank manger told me that this bumi rejected bank manager idea, because this
bumi wanted to make fast money..  doh.gif
*
I believe it is amanah sayam passbook... Fast money die faster...haha...

Non bumi also have our own kang tao , example callable item from one of the forumer said 5.2% he get , i dont know whether it is per annum or per quarter

Why put hlb when you can put ambank 4.6% for 2 years?

Ambank must be desperate. Giving so high interest when other banks offering 4.2% like that. Wonder other bank will follow or not. hmm.gif

I didnt put it lar , i was going to meet the branch head to pass my customer "s housing loan application , we have some chit chat lor....

Please I want to see your calculations. Cause you tell me 3% and Hong leong is one kiamsap bank (look at their FD promo, usually not competitive). So it is kind of hard for me to see that they are suddenly so generous with their  savings account. I could learn a new thing.

What is the name of the saving account product u guys mention?
