I know what he can do. Lewandoski,Gotze, Hummel and so on... what I was trying to say he didnt do pretty well in the last 1-2 season on the transfer market.

Everyone seems like putting so much hope on Klopp which I think a bit over.
*
Everyone also got problem one. Ancelloti and Scolari also didn't last at Chelsea, even Guardiola had his issues at Barca...what most people are thinking is that Klopp is a step up from Rodgers, the kind of manager we should've targeted in the beginning. Not AVB, Martinez or Rodgers kind of upcoming young star kind of manager, but rather slightly more experienced.

Sometimes hope is just wat Liverpool need at the moment. Hope keeps the fans alive and drives us forward.

The golden sky always unfold itself at the end of every storm. And there's no better man than Klopp to lift us up again. Just by watching his antics on the sidelines is enough to spur us.

Whats worst that can happen to us anyway?

yeah, i agree with you on this, "Whats worst that can happen to us anyway?"

At least got "hope" which is better than none under BR.

For sure, Klopp wont able magical transform Liv instantly, and winning trophy or even top 4, but what fans want to see is some progress.

Fans basically are like "hungry" for months, that's why you see so much excitement. Even pundit also feel the "hungriness" of Liv.
There is too much gloom and doom feeling previously, and too many table being flipped. tongue.gif

Whether Klopp can be a success or not, nobody can assure of, but at least now, a new hope is born.
Just like dating a new girl friend, disregard the gf is a "success" or not, you still feel "excited" at the beginning. laugh.gif

Every manager has their ups and downs in their career cycle. But as fans we must know how to weigh between setbacks and achievements.

Just like how ppl said Rafa is crap. He has his fair share of crisis and poor buys but what he had done for Liverpool is stuff legends are made off. Thats y he is always on the good side in my books.

Klopp has his setbacks during his last season in Dortmund, but what he had done for them far overweighs all the disappointment they had suffered. So lets not focus on his setbacks too much but look at him positively.

As for Wodgers, this guy is a straight up salesman kaki, did nothing for Reading and Watford, won a playoff to EPL with Swansea and rode on Suarez's form. Cant blame me for chewing his ass all the time.

Support is earned n not something u give away freely just because one wears the Liverpool badge on his chest.

Klopp will turn Allen into a world class midfielder and the whole footballing world will forget about Xavi. The kids wanna play like Joe Allen, the legendary midfielder. Midfielders will aspire to be like him and upcoming talents will be dubbed as 'The Next Allen'

So trueeeeeeeeee, Klopp is no guarantee 100% success, but for sure there will be progress and hope under him, where we didn't see any under BR. So yes, a very simple reason why fans is so excited!

So many positive post in here... laugh.gif

Anyway I think we should stop giving our-self too high hopes. Klopp transfer in the last few season was not very good.
Ciro Immobile - hottest striker in Italy when signed from Torino but disappointed at Dortmund with 10 goals in first season. Loaned to Sevilla
Adrian Ramos - signed alongside Immobile to replace Lewandowski but has managed just six goals so far
Milos Jojic - Serbian playmaker signed from Partizan Belgrade in 2013. Against tough competition, made just 29 appearances over two seasons and now at Cologne.
Julian Schieber - Joined from Stuttgart in 2012 and scored winner against Man City. But couldn't keep his place and scored just six in 57 games
*
That's common self-healing initiation with self-accepting and expecting symptomatic relief while discovering certain wisdom from available opportunities and choices. If Kopites expect this immediate turnover with immediate overnight success story then good luck to you as reality check the resounding of claps should works both way. Allow me...

Ciro Immobile : Not sure about his one season wonder at Torino with kind of quick counter and his movement so mobile easily click with that team to net more than 20 goals from about 30 matches. Yet to score in competitive match with Sevilla. Unable to make such instant impact with BvB mostly his movement measure just near missed to convert.

Adrian Ramos: Though of player already settled at Germany but this kind of trait far from expectation to replace Lewandowski. Not really good in one touch football and try so hard to use his strength on aerial chances which is last season Dortmund not really good with due to opponents already contain most of it.

Milos Jojic (all round midfielder but no Maestro) and Kempl: Both desperate measure to get play maker since injuries hit the main players. Hardworking but not deliver (ironically this echoes at Anfield as well).

Julian Schieber: One of Sad Case example to be number two for many seasons behind main man... Lewandowski.

Meanwhile most talking point on Lewandowski also such a suspect at his first season in Dortmund after good record from his previous local league. But he really shows good character to describe how effectiveness should be as the striker. Yes Klopp did some part to nourish some of players but mostly does not happen at first season beside Reus who is already established player from M'gladbach whom already got superb moral as local lad there. Do you think he able to deal with current Liverpool player to play as a team? Only time will tell. If he did immediate approach such like high pressing and scary high defensive line to the Reds then good luck with it... All now will point out to the players rather than the head Coach.

In terms of excitement. I'm reminded of the time when Rafa was announced to takeover from Houllier. Rafa at the time was a fresh winner of UEFA Cup and two time La Liga champion trumping the likes of Madrid and Barca which is no mean feat.

Since the dawn of the Premier League, we have rarely hired well proven managers who have actually won some major trophies.
