there are few factors which prevents the engine from starting easily. you might wanna to google it. a lot of tips online...

u can try to buy a starter too... i have never use a recoil pull start b4.

what buggy is yours? brand and model? what engine brand?

What mini or micro RC are you referring to? They have stadium trucks, buggies, cars that come in mini or micro form..

Majalah 3 covered the general Malaysian RC scene, here's the vid!

Apart from Hobby Haven which is in Sunway, you might wanna try TP Racing which is also in Sunway (www.tp-racing.com.my) which carries the Team Associated (AE) brand of RC.

I'm currently using TT01R but if i can go back in time, i would actually get a TC4 RTR which is about RM1.1k and trust me, TC4 is a much better car than TT01.

Other than that, i met a guy in HPC (Glenmarie) who told me he got a Hot Bodies Cyclone almost RTR for RM1.5k which is fantastic as Cyclone is a competition RC Car.

to drift, all 1 need to do is get the right kinda tire setup...which is basically PVC, ABS, PE, or if you've got the bucks, drift tires...

tp sells some pretty good 'spark' drift tires but they wear really fast.

you're right, TC4's setup is more for touring, but get this, with that set up, you can use it for touring AND drifting but with a drif specs, you can only use it for drifting.

the TC4 comes with a really good LRP 'AI' ESC and a stock 17-turn motor, which is fantastic...it beats Tamiya's TT any time...
the down side for the TC4 RTR is its radio - looks horrible...again, i've you've got the bucks, plenty of choices out there for a good radio...
