QUOTE(zorbyss. @ Nov 23 2015, 11:13 PM) Just saw it in my mailbox! For me, having DirectD as a big established retailer that always bring new smartphone early to our market is an advantage to user, especially those who dont have the privilege to wait and everyday tea tarik chat in forum while waiting for official / local announcement.2698 for 64GB with official warranty sounds like a big slap for DirectD and 1gadget. I'm used to buy smartphone from ebay / amazon and the total cost is almost on par with the price Directd sells. Of course now we have toabao and many other 'chinese-based' online platform that sells gadget at good price but I don't have guts to buy from yet. and dont forget singapore 64gb also if convert around rm2.9k already. and that's before u calculate the gst and sirim being charged to you (if you post it over here). |

QUOTE(Garena @ Nov 24 2015, 12:11 AM) If convert directly from xe, is RM2867. But of course bank rate is normally higher a bit, so can say estimately is RM2.9kif you walk in and purchase at SG, then bring out urself, chances to be taxed and gst is of course almost 0. So your total cost is RM2.9k. This one is considering you already have other reason to go to Singapore. if you purposely go there to buy 6p, just consider your petrol and toll cost + VEP charges + ERP Charges + Toll charges (approximately SG$50 / RM150 if weekdays or SG12 / RM33 if on weekends or public holiday). If like me, I did travel to Singapore on weekend to purchase phone (last time htc one m7 and iphone 5s), I spent additional RM280. So adds on to the cost of the phone, it becomes RM3180. if your friend over there buy for you and post it to here, then there's chances for you to get taxed once it reach our customs. So it's gonna be rm2.9k x 6% (GST) + RM100 (sirim) = RM3174. This post has been edited by irenic: Nov 24 2015, 12:25 AM |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Nov 25 2015, 05:27 PM) All had their pro n cons I had the same dilemma. Which phone I gonna use for my main number, which means the phone will become my primary phone. My choice does not really represent it to be the best Is just my personal preference n I had stated is LG V10 V10 is an excellent smartphone, but for me, Nexus 6P longer battery life and better front stereo speakers relegate the v10 to no 2 spot. Now having Z5 premium, i have no choice but to keep the v10 inside the drawer.. most probably will sell it soon. |

QUOTE(azbro @ Nov 25 2015, 05:42 PM) Is it worth it to pay RM4`500 more for the premium 4K display? Well the extra rm500 is for larger screen, larger capacity battery and the suppose-to-be sharper display.Heard that normal use cant tell the difference of the screens Worth it or not is depends on whether the above 'improvements' are important to you or not. QUOTE(stringfellow @ Nov 25 2015, 07:38 PM) My dilemma is pretty unique. I value audio quality (hence the bult-in HiFi DAC) and manual photo-taking capabilities more than chasing power, efficiency or display resolution. Especially the way Sony handles 4K solution renders in specific apps only and not across the entire UI/ecosystem on the Z5 Premium. The 6P is nice and all, but only if I am still in the "chasing smoothness and specs" game. The V10 with Nova Launcher is pretty much Nexus-quality speed to me, and there is nothing on the Marshmallow that I want or can live without. I don't game anymore on the Android platform anymore too either, which means I don't need SD810, so that places the 6P into third place. The Z5 Premium is a close second (because of its own built-in HiFi implementation and its own photo taking capabilities, although the edges are pretty soft on the photos), but the way Sony handles 4K on it made me soured from getting one. You have sthing that I don't and not really into it - a truly high end headphones! The only high end phone that can power up your headphone is LG V10 and there's no doubt it produces the best audio quality (through it's 3.5mm jack) compare to other high end device in the market at the moment.Speaking of getting one, the difficulty of getting either one of the 6P or Z5 Premium, kinda solidifies my decision further. But, for speakers / loudspeaker, Nexus 6p sounds definitely louder and better than the v10. So that's why it's easy for me to relegate the v10 when I received my 6P last week.. |

QUOTE(Yen8on3 @ Nov 25 2015, 10:12 PM) I think LG V10 has a slightly better display than the Nexus 6p, both in terms of colour and brightness. But you can't go wrong with either one.QUOTE(remix2040 @ Nov 26 2015, 12:33 AM) The iPhone 6 Plus always have this grey tint to their pictures. Makes the picture look damn flat. After using the 6P, it makes me not wanting to use the damn iPhone anymore hahaha Since using S6 Edge (/S6 Active / Note 5), I finally realise iPhone camera is not that great. |

QUOTE(cruzzmz @ Dec 3 2015, 07:29 PM) i already posted the sales thread, and receive quite numbers of enquiry for 128gb, but none for 64gb yet. maybe because malaysia will only have 32gb and 64gb.i think i'll price the 64gb at the price of 32gb original set. |
