Hi guys! May I know which brokers are the best to buy and hold for SGX Counters in the long term? Be it S-Reits, Banks or defensive stocks like Sheng Siong. Or are there any brokers that you guys recommend?

I'm currently spread across all 4 brokers, Moomoo, LongBridge, Webull SG and ProsperUS. Thinking of consolidating into one to manage my portfolio more easily. Looking for brokers that have cheap brokerage fees, platform fees, or any other zero recurring fees, like dividend handling fees

I've looked into IBKR. But the fees are relatively high compared to all 4 brokers above. The only thing that IBKR attract me is they does give a sense of "security" compared to all modern discounted brokers (If they somehow go bankrupt 1 day)

Edit: I might close all the positions at Webull SG soon, because there is no easy way to use Webull SG unless you use a VPN to download their Webull SG app. Unlike Moomoo, which combined both Malaysia and Singapore into 1 app)

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/trump-exempts-phones-computers-chips-124707368.html

" The products that won’t be subject to Trump’s new tariffs include machines used to make semiconductors. That would be important for Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., which has announced a major new investment in the US, as well as other chipmakers.

“All products that are properly classified in these listed provisions will be excluded from the reciprocal tariffs,” the notice said.

The move appeared to exclude the products from the 10% global baseline tariff on other countries, including Samsung Electronics Co.’s home of South Korea. "

Barring any surprises from that fella tmrw,... UMS Integrations (UMS Int) and her customers will benefit greatly from the above exemptions, which excludes even the 10% baseline tariff.. UMS Int will soon have a secondary listing in the BUrsa, ie Msian investors will be able to buy UMS Int from BSKL in Ringgit.

Congratulations to UMS Int shareholders,...

Did you bring the dividends from SG back into Malaysia? If not, then no need to declare.

In that case, you just fill in according to country, so you aggregate the dividends from OCBC, DBS, SREITs etc. into one line - Country is Singapore.
