Well I don't think I want a full size tripod coz will be damn heavy lugging around. Was just looking and thought a table top might be good.
*
Sirui T-025X is not heavy at all, of course it is not as portable as Pixi.
I brought Sirui and Pixi to Taiwan last year, at the end, i only use Pixi and Sirui kept in hotel room most of the time.

There's another new iteration of Pixi (called Pixi Evo) with a ball head that can move to portrait position, thought that would be useful. But Pixi is pretty cheap.
*
Ahhh... This Pixi Evo is much better than Pixi.
Cannot move to portrait position is really a big problem sometime.

Also, it can go pretty low if compare to Pixi

Found a good deal for X100T, any particular thing need to check if getting 2nd hand?
*
How much? smile.gif

Normally, i will check the following while buying 2nd hand camera.
1. external body for dent, chip or obvious scratches.
2. scratches, haze, fungus on lens
3. On the camera and check all the features such as wifi, flash.
4. pop in SD card, take few shots with varies Aperture with and without flash, check the photo on LCD or bring your laptop along.
5. check all the external dial and button whether got loose or not.
6. check the shutter count too.

Went to Aquaria KLCC today and try out the X70.
The lighting is poor and not consistent, auto focus quite struggle and need to take few shots for each scene.
Fast moving fish all blur at first, until I use the wide focus tracking + AF-C.

Auto White balance is very accurate, what you see is what you get.

High ISO quality is really usable, especially comparing with GR. All photos today mostly over ISO 3200.

Here are some photos, all Sooc jpg.

This is using wide tracking + AF-C, working very well.

Just bought x100s at the price of 1700 with a 25L dry box smile.gif

Tried it out I'm totally mind blown with its macro outcome. Hahaha.
Time to update the firmware since the seller never updated the firmware.

The shutter count of the unit is just 1400.
I guess he's not a heavy user for a period of 2 years.

The cosmetic is 10/10

Congrats! RM1700 X100s free 25L dry box?

Yup. That's right !
Just that the memory card is a simple 8g class 4.

Any recommendations for accessories ?
For example battery and others ?

Saw review that the camera battery life is short

Personally think that Gordy's camera strap is a must have. It makes your camera become so sexy.  brows.gif

I have Gordy but it is not too nice on X100s, it's too hard and not flexible.

I was using Lance instead

Alright, thanks for your feedback. But I do wonder if the XPro 1 will work better with a lens that was designed to go with it from the beginning (35/1.4).
*
You should go to the shop and test both lens.
But here is the review i read before and he used XPro1 for the test.

QUOTE
On the X Pro 1, this lens actually focuses incredibly fast for a Fujifilm lens/camera combo, but where it really shines is on the XT-1. Indeed, this lens really is the fastest to focus optic that Fujifilm currently makes–and that goes or both low light and great light.

hi all sifus whom used x100s.

may i know hows the battery performance ?
averagely how many shoots can be done in a fully charged battery?

as I'm thinking of getting extra battery if required. hehe
*
My last use of my (ex) X100s was in Finland late autumn, quite cold (~5°C). I can only get less than 200 shots. Can be due to cold weather. I was shooting RAW + JPG, no video.

Better get some spare battery as NP-95 is quite common, cheap and easy to find.

thanks !

however any particular brand should i go for ?

found wasabi power battery pack x2 for about rm200.
however not sure whether its a good deal oh not.
or should i just go with any 3rd party battery that cost about rm70 per pieces?
*
So far, wasabi brand is good. Even overseas reviewer also commented Wasabi didn't give any problem so far compare to other brand.

I am not sure about the price tho because I didn't use any 3rd party NP-95. But I am using Pisen 3rd party brand for my Sony cameras, so far so good.
