Subscribing 10mbps but just getting 1mbps

I had subscribe a 10mbps maxis fibre but it seems like i only getting like 1mpbs download speed! And the internet speed these day seems like VERY UNSTABLE the speed decreases and then increase back. Please help!

Really do hope they paying attention to this.... wanted a customer to pay 10mbps bill but actually only provide 1 mbps services... somehwe feel like cheating...

I reported and this is how they replied: Based on your report,it is still within a acceptable range.You should be browsing smoothly and play online games without problem.

i do wonder if you guys realized that EVERY telco displays their data speed in MegaBITSPerSecond(Mbps) and not in MegaBYTESPerSecond(MBps). and what you get in your download speed is the speed you subscribed divided by 8. so subscribing to 10mbps = +-1.2MBps
but if you know that and you're not getting around that speed, then you should complain
