Guys may I know how much service charge for changing timing belt?

Anybody change theirs before? Mind to share how much? Thanks

anybody has changed their upper engine mounting? If yes any aftermarket shop outside you guys can recommend?

Hi guys.. Long time didn't post in here..

Just want to share something.. TL:DR

A couple of months back I noticed woo woo sound while driving (like helicopter sound) together with shaking internal cabin.. I can hear my house keys rattling like nobody business. So I went to kedai tayar in Jalan Ipoh to check maybe my alignment or nut chamber faulty..

Kedai tayar said the sound was due to uneven tyre that I used (Rovelo sport A1) hence making that sound appear. He even told me because of the bunga tayar sudah lain2 left and right that's why the sound very loud..

Since I very seldom drive my 408 so I don't go buy new donut.. And everyday I cursed that rovelo A1 that I've been using for 1yr++ because bring problem to me..

Yesterday went to tayar shop (weng heng kemuning) and bought 4 new donuts.. After complete everything I drove back and noticed THE SAME SOUND OF WOO WOO STILL EXISTS..!! I was like so damn frustrated I go back to ernest and told him why got that woo woo sound.. He told me it was...... Wheel MFCKR Bearing..

Finally after 3 years my left side wheel bearing failed.. Since no warranty I go for peugeot w/shop at sg ramal (MZ Auto) this morning.. Cost me RM410 left side include installation..

Checked with Euromotive and the parts alone cost RM320 1 piece.

Lesson learned. Before conclude tyre problem please check your wheel bearing..

Pomen told me right side still in good condition thus no need to change. Doubt on that I asked Mr. G and most of the forum informed that if 1 side faulty then only change 1 side.. If the mechanics said to change both sides then consumer need to find another workshop..

I have been using Malaysian car (Wira/Waja) for 22 years never encountered wheel bearing issue. Pakai ini after 100k kms first time kena.. doh.gif

MZ auto Kajang seems neglected to install parts not from their shop. I need to replace my front disk brake and brake pad quoted around RM800++

I know front pads are around $200 a pair. If say labour for fixing both wheel is $100. That means both disc cost $500. That is $250 per disc.

I doubt you'll find cheaper elsewhere! Also saves you the trouble of finding the spare part shop to buy it.

Btw, is MZ auto clean environment?

At the moment,I am overseas. Will send you Peug Auto contact as soon as I get home. They are in Batu Tiga, I get my maintenance done here. But I doubt it will be cheaper!

Since my compressor kong I went to Econstand Aircond at Jalan Tun Razak yesterday and was quoted 2.8k for compressor and condenser.. 1 day workmanship..

Any other shop that you guys can recommend below the stated price?
