Now I'm not sure to replace my compressor with recond unit or new unit.. Later change new unit suddenly Recall..

Was thinking to change to recond unit since later recall will replace to new unit. However scared recond unit not reliable later in no time konged balik..

Change to new unit suddenly Recall and replace the compressor. So rugi change to new unit..

servicing part i go kajang there.. MZ auto specialist for peugeot/citroen. Owner Mr. Zakaria..

Spare part i buy euromotive (brake pad/wiper/etc)

now still thinking where to go for compressor and condenser..

Finally decided to go for new compressor unit and condenser replaced today.. So no need pening2 later..

Just want to give one tip.. This is the lesson that i get today and i'm fully regret it..!!

There's some difference for condenser+receiver drier between 408T and 408NA..

For Turbo the receiver drier (filter) on the condenser cannot be changed thus shop will request to change the condenser 1 set..

For NA the receiver drier can be change every 20k service cycle. Hence to prolong your compressor, PLEASE MONITOR AND CHANGE YOUR RECEIVER DRIER FREQUENTLY.

Sedih woo burned money just like that for my not-so-familiar-knowledge-about-aircond..



Charge extra? Last I get RM2730 after nego.. Hmmmmm..

Receiver drier (filter) cost RM75.. It's something like bag thingy placed inside the tube cylinder type next to condenser..

No need to dismantle dashboard.

I have checked the compressor price:

Sg Wang Car Accessories: As picture above for new unit.. RM2000++ for recond compressor + condenser + labor + vacuum + flushing + etc

Econstand Jln Tun Razak: RM1850 compressor only with 6 months warranty. Condenser RM650++

Euromotive Sg Besi: RM1300 compressor only (installation sendiri pasang) not sure on warranty

Peugeot SC: RM6000 - not sure compressor only or all together which is condenser / cooling coil / compressor

MZ Auto Kajang: Estimated RM5000 all together with dismantle dashboard

There you go.. Sorry for put up the price.. Because stress about the aircond before but now never been happier..

Price may vary depends on how u gosok the workshop owner punya peha.. I've done mine..
