Yes bro..initially feel strange..later u will appreciate with our tiptronic transmission..
Driving manual mode will get us extra drivin mood..auto mode slight boring heheh..

Manual mode without clutch actually better, no tired feeling during traffic jam =)

Hi

I also driving 408 2.0 since 2013.
I always using Auto mode + snow mode "ON" during heavy traffic so the 1st gear have low rpm (1st change to 2nd gear with low rpm). I felt smooth acceleration on this combination and save fuel significantly.

you can try it.

Mine last time 20k also got brake noise problem. SC told me to cuci my rim and tayar (due to dust).. So I did but the sound still there..

SC told us 'normal' because don't want us to claim warranty of 20k for brake? Do they have warranty for brake?

Anyway, mine clocked at 42k and already changed my brake pad.. now no more annoying sound. Bought TRW brake pad for 2.0NA at Euromotive Auto Parts. Total damage RM180/set for front brake pad. SC quoted me RM616 at glenmarie and RM660 at geotauto.

A bit spongy i must say but overall performance quite same with stock brake pad..

For NA and Turbo, the design of brake pad a bit different (NA 283mm disc & Turbo 302mm disc) and the price too.. Don't buy the wrong one ok..

From the box, 408NA sharing the same brake pad for 307 and citroen xsara picasso 2.0.
Bro, I'm using the old version (based from stock brake pad). Not sure can use the new version or not..

Yup..i juz asked tyreman to check my absorber..no leakage or any broken part seen..but he told my rear suspension system already soft..maybe due to change soon..

To be fair..i've already lenjan the car with maximal load to klia with 170kmh speed multiple times previously..

So maybe its part of my fault too..not manufacturer sad.gif

I also often max load when travel back to hometown and running on "stone" road when I outstation. My car already 4 years, 95k km. My absorber still strong and I never doubt with its quality.. biggrin.gif

Guys, lately the error message of "ABS/ESP Faulty" keep popping out. Sometimes off and restart the error message goes away, sometimes don't.
Anyone has this experience? What need to be fixed? Thanks!

Finally decided to go for new compressor unit and condenser replaced today.. So no need pening2 later..

Just want to give one tip.. This is the lesson that i get today and i'm fully regret it..!!

There's some difference for condenser+receiver drier between 408T and 408NA..

For Turbo the receiver drier (filter) on the condenser cannot be changed thus shop will request to change the condenser 1 set..

For NA the receiver drier can be change every 20k service cycle. Hence to prolong your compressor, PLEASE MONITOR AND CHANGE YOUR RECEIVER DRIER FREQUENTLY.

Sedih woo burned money just like that for my not-so-familiar-knowledge-about-aircond..

Charge extra? Last I get RM2730 after nego.. Hmmmmm..
