Tks for replying. It's stock Continental tyres. I thought wheel alignment would have been done when new car was delivered.  Yes this car could easily go up to 170-180 if not for the vibration.

hey guys, been owning my 408 for around 1.5 years, and the headlamps are now becoming blur and rough on its surface...i don't know why, as i clean the car quite frequently and my car park is covered....have you guys experienced this? as i saw alot of other peugeots which are older their headlamps still look new even my other car which is already 3 years on the road...any solution to this? Thanks

There is no history of ep6cdtm with this problem ever! More than 100 408thp owners registered at this 408 thread. As of now more than 15k posting at this thread. Not a single complaint of worn piston rings or high oil consumption.

Hi guys/gals... sorry to be noob here. was wondering about the recall programme. I'm buying a new 408 (make 2016). Does new car also included in the enhancement programme? if yes, can anyone point me to the correct location for me to check if I need to send my car in for enhancement after collection of the vehicle.

Bro, recommended oil viscosity for our engine is 0W-30 or 5W-30. 5w-40 can use also but maybe engine response a tad slow.

You bought 5w-40 cos it is 5liter,right! I don't understand why we are conned, our engine only needs 4 liters. I only realised this after servicing outside. The mechanic gave me back 1liter. With 4liters in, I checked my dipstick, it was at the full mark!

Don't understand why valve cover not claimable on EWP. This is part of engine. I just bought original valve head cover, gaskets and turbo inlet hose, at spare part shop, for $1150. Labour charge would be $150,going to fix this Sat.

I don't see any benefit in him doing that. Neither he no me gain. Beside it's very messy to stop gravity oil drain once drain plug is removed. No mechanic in his right mind will mix contaminated oil with new oil!

Where did you get info 408thp requires 4.3liters engine oil?
