I am considering to switch to other university since mmu cyber doesnt offer bachelor on IT , currently on my 2nd semester bachelor of computer science, is it possible to credit transfer the subjects that i have taken so that i dont need to retake those subject again at the other university, or do this credit transfer only works from diploma to degree?
Was actually thinking to switch to FOM but Admission unit rejected my application due to me doing my foundation in IT..
MMU is very firm with it's foundation,
you cannot simply change your course after you've chosen your foundation,
you are only allowed to credit transfer partial foundation subjects and retake foundation in management to go for foundation in management.
Besides that, advise your juniors don't choose MMU foundation if you're not sure what you're going to do in Degree, because you will have to retake some subjects in other University as well if you're using your foundation in IT as entry requirement.
For EG:
1) Foundation in Lifescience (MMU) --> UCSI (some transferred, math, critical thinking etc), however need to take Bio1/2/3, only allowed to joined degree
2) Foundation in Science (UTAR) --> Inti (need to retake 2 semester due to poor result)
As for your case, I am not very sure because you might be able to use your degree 1st sem result to transfer, but I doubt other university will accept you, they will probably only allowed you to transfer if you're taking IT relevant degree courses....
So, don't choose foundation if you're not sure, unless you're joining UTAR.
UTAR allowed you to picked foundation in SCIENCE / ART and after that only choose your degree subject, but it's a different case in MMU
