Hey guys, im new to this forum. Can i ask few questions regarding foundation ? Im really confused but for now im pretty sure im going MMU. Here are the questions, after i completed my foundation at mmu, can i continue my degree in other universities? If i score really well, can i apply for scholarship from other places? Is it hard to find scholarship with mmu foundation qualification? im planning to take information technology . Can i apply to other universities like in UK or Australia with my Foundation from mmu for my degree? thanks alot !

Hi, foundation program is usually tailor made as a path leading to degree in the same university. So it depends on whether the other universities accept or recognize your foundation cert or not. Same thing when students from other unis foundation programme want to do their bachelor in MMU, they need to check with MMU.

So my advice is, if you have some idea on the place you want to do your degree, it is best to contact them to ask. Same goes to your scholarship query.

why do u want to do foundation in mmu then proceed other uni? the point of foundation of a uni is a "guaranteed" pathway to the uni's degree.

I think you are more suited for A levels since you want to go oversea.

got 1 subject very habis.

TSE3151 - Software Design
Lecturer/tutorial is Wan Ruslan Bin W Yusoff.

most of us only score between 15-25 for our coursework mark (50%).

final exam sure gg. coz the lecure slides... ALL WORDS !!! It's like essay.

More like a law subject you know... just different content in it...

hahaha not to be a jerk but man, he already has a reputation amongst my friends to be one of the worst lecturer of ALL.

you'd see student skips classes/tutorials nearing the end of the semester, but bet you'd never see a lecturer do that have ya laugh.gif

he has great experiences don't get me wrong, but his executions during classes are like zzz. good luck getting any topics taught after hearing all about his goddamn stories.

Wan Ruslan huh? My fiancee's FYP moderator and she did quite good. At the same time he was also one of my friend's ex-supervisor for FYP. That friend of mine ended up dropping the FYP and started from scratch a new join-FYP with me the following year haha. He's one of those senior academicians you always see in university with each one of them having their own quirks.

On a personal, off-academics level, Wan Ruslan is a friendly person.

Knowing Wan Ruslan, I wouldn't be surprised if he did something like that. Although I reckon he would have his reasons and not simply because he's lazy to teach that day.

Yeah but as you can see, some of his students here are not too happy with that...and that is not good if he did not inform the students about class cancellation.

Yup true. Something that the class could probably highlight to him and then to the dean if no improvements seen. nod.gif

Yup. But nowadays, students tend to prefer to post in FB etc and this is bad image for the management regardless whether the news/complaint is valid/verified.

This is the norm now across all tertiary institutions. Over time people will take these complains with a pinch of salt when considering where to further their studies. laugh.gif
