For IT, I would say a lot of students have trouble with programming and maths subjects. But what I need to emphasize is both subjects as well as IT in general is all about practical/technical skills. So, if you're not one who understands the need to spend time doing repetitive exercises in order to gain the familiarity, life in IT is going to be hard for you.

Learning environment is subjective to the kind of person you are and the crowd you choose to associate yourself with. My advice; build a big enough network of friends so you can have fun but at the same time also have a solid team to do group study or even group assignments. The lecturers are mostly okay but as with people, there are bound to be some you may just not be able to get along with. Try to be a face/name they can remember - but not for the wrong reasons obviously.

The classes and labs are in good condition as FCI is one of the newer blocks around. Admin office can be okay/pain in the arse depending on so many factors lol. Same thing, try to be a friendly familiar face the admin people can remember, and you may end up having things go your way more often than not.

Cars and parking. If you have car you can easily go to town, go find food around Cyberjaya, have more choices in terms of living arrangements. But parking can be a bish. Gotta come in early and schedule your timetable so that you don't have gaps in between. Once you're done for the day, you're done - no need to go out, and get back in just to again hunt for a parking spot. Just have to live with it.

Wan Ruslan huh? My fiancee's FYP moderator and she did quite good. At the same time he was also one of my friend's ex-supervisor for FYP. That friend of mine ended up dropping the FYP and started from scratch a new join-FYP with me the following year haha. He's one of those senior academicians you always see in university with each one of them having their own quirks.

On a personal, off-academics level, Wan Ruslan is a friendly person.

Knowing Wan Ruslan, I wouldn't be surprised if he did something like that. Although I reckon he would have his reasons and not simply because he's lazy to teach that day.

Yup true. Something that the class could probably highlight to him and then to the dean if no improvements seen.

This is the norm now across all tertiary institutions. Over time people will take these complains with a pinch of salt when considering where to further their studies.

Food tip: For Arab food, go to Sultan instead of Saba

Accommodation tip: For cheaper off-campus accommodation (provided you have a car), try to find rooms to rent in Taman Pinggiran Cyber. Single storey terrace houses just 5 mins drive from Cyberjaya campus.

Bahasa kebangsaan exemption can be based on SPM result as well. You didn't check about the transfer of these two as well together with the 7 subjects?

Of all the softwares you need to install to do the assignments, there is bound to be those that aren't Mac OS supported hehe.
