Is there a gym at the cyber campus? If not, where do people usually go?

The only one in walking distance is Cyberia, but gonna be hard to get a single room except for the lower floor one which is really small. If u dont mind sweating when u have afternoon classes, can go crescent or the arc which has single rooms at 250+.

What kind of bad rep btw? The area or housing?

Hello, I'll be joining FIT Cyberjaya this July in Foundation in IT and planning to further my study in BoCS specialized in Game Development..
I have a few questions regarding a few clubs that I'm interested in joining.

1) Basketball club: Is this club still active? Does it join any tournaments nationwide/internationally? Achievements? What are the fixed time and days (or the usual time and days) for practice? And where do they practice?

2) Aikido club: Same questions as #1

3)Emina: Still active? Any recent activities and events? What do the club usually do? Oh and do the club attend any Anime or similar expo (I.e. ComicFest, Penang Anime Matsuri, etc.)?

4)Game Developers club: Still active?

Oh also, how big is a triple-sharing room for the on-campus male hostel? I'll be bringing in my PC with me, and since I don't have any internal WiFi card installed, may I use cable instead in the hostel?

Thanks in advance..

The triple sharing room depends if you get the single or bunk bed (usually the seniors will chop the single). The room is not that big, not sempit either. Should be fine if ur just gonna be on the PC, and there is a LAN port for each person. Top bunk no fan = die (better sleep on floor).

Hi guys i’m a new student for the nov intake. Just want to ask these questions below;

1) the orientation is 15th-17th of Nov, so should i bring all my stuff and leave it at my hostel room? Because i was informed class will start the following week.

2) I already have my own insurance, is it compulsory to emroll myself with the appointed insurance by mmu?

3) Does the offer letter state the tuition fees? Since my father needs to use it as documentation for EPF withdrawal.

Thanks in advance!

2) The insurance is 100% optional. You don't need to do anything if you don't want it, just ignore it.

Last thing, can anyone who have lived at MMU hostel (Cyberjaya) give me details about the place? Is it comfortable to live in? Is the room too small? Any other information are welcomed. In the website, they only give you 2 option :

-Twin Sharing
-Triple Sharing

Are there option for private room? I want to live by my own and don't want to share room with other person because of privacy.

Sorry for asking alot of question.

There's no single room in the hostel. If you want a private room, you can rent a room at Cyberia (closer walking distance) or The Arc for around RM 400 per month. Try find good deals in the Cyberjaya marketplace on FB, cause you can get 400 with utilities (electricity, water, internet).

Degree for electronic majoring in computer

First 2 years its mostly general subjects. 100+ per class held in auditorium type of class. 2nd year become a bit less, 70+ for general classes. 3rd/4th year more course specific, lecturers will cap the class at 40, usually 30-ish registered and less that come to class.
