If anyone notice on the page of Xpax. It says that 'it's your last chance to enjoy the final Millions of Magic giveaway' which makes me think that this might be the final rewards magic sim users would get since Celcom introduces this reward program to Magic sim subscribers.

1st was the movie ticket for topup/ Internet pack subscribers.
2nd Free Petrol gift card to Weekly/Monthly Internet Pack subscriber.
3rd now and ongoing. The Starbucks/KFC gift card will only be given for monthly Internet pack subscribers.

I hope they came up with more interesting things after this. Anyway, rewarding customers for these past 3 months have been so great. Good strategy I would say. Good value for money so far.

On the other hand, please remove Yonder as it is a problematic apps. The rating on Play store says it all. Maybe can move to Spotify or other streaming apps which let us hog to the apps through Celcom private network and not using our data allowance.

So they limit to 2TB now. I saw the Xpax website reload page don't have the option for Internet packs Rm30, RM40 and RM60.
They only have the new ones they called Magic Reload RM38 etc. Not sure they gonna abolish the old Internet packs soon.

Can we act on such misleading adverts via the Malaysian Consumer Protection (Amendment) Act 2010 which deals with unfair contract terms?? Not too sure about here in Malaysia, but in certain countries, ie UK, this most certainly works..For instance, under the UK Unfair Contract Terms Bill, a term of a contract can still be held void even if it has been partially or wholly executed. In other words, what these telcos have been doing are blatantly wrong and they can't get away by just stating "we reserve the rights to amend xx and yy."

Do we have something similar in Malaysia? If yes, isn't it the time we the consumers act?

Ya man I'm afraid not. So far.. for now they can do whatever they want and the bodies such as MCMC not exactly up to par for the likes of what a country such as UK have, to protect consumer rights. They over there have the Ombudsman, Ofgem and Ofcom to regulate terms and conditions set by corporations and help the consumers on any disputes.
