Can some one advise how is the progress to port out from maxis if still tied with Iphone contract?

easy, just pay the termination fee and port out

means that i need to go maxis center and said i want to terminate the line?

then if the new line not yet activate? no line for few days?

Or maxis will wait until i port out?

1. Pay penalty fee to cancel contract
2. Go other telco to sign new package. They will help u request for port out.
3. Once ur old simcard is deactivate. Change to new telco simcard

Example if my remaining contract is 2 months & I'm on MOP 128 I have to pay RM256?

Received umobile sms on 7/4 7:15PM , let's see how long it will maxis takes to send confirmation sms to me.

They will give you "that special call" first before they allow you to port out.

depend ...now they never call alredi ...

no thats not how they calculate. say for example my case, i am on 158 plan, still got 6 months before contract up, my penalty is 400+

i am guessing the penalty work something like total commitment x remaining contract months / 2 = penalty

hi maixs , if my current bill need to pay is monthly 140, and for finial bill i pay extra, lets say rm300, just to avoid in future mnp get blacklisted, will maxis return back the balance to me in cheque after closing my account and deduct my balance ?
