QUOTE(isr25 @ Mar 6 2016, 08:59 PM) I have always used 2 telcos for the past 8 years - Maxis personal phone, and Celcom company phone. For the last 5 years, I used iPhone for Maxis and Android for Celcom. Some observations: the bolded part.Celcom has better data stability in Johor Bahru compared to Maxis (using speedtest) Celcom has faster 4G speeds in Johor Bahru compared to Maxis (using speedtest) Celcom has a problem with 3G>H>H+>4G signal changing - never noticed this with Maxis Both Celcom and Maxis has EXTREMELY slow GPRS and EDGE connections especially at rural areas. You should just try and change to Celcom Gold Plan - or U Mobile or DiGi for that matter. There is no contract, so if you don't like it, you can port back out to other operators. Digi also have the same problem |

QUOTE(attw @ Mar 16 2016, 07:09 AM) They won't do anything, They have a number of One Club Elite members who pay more than RM600 a month in monthly bills and their corporate clients enough to support them. They don't give a rat's a$$ about normal consumers... no wonder they said previously in newspaper that they're focusing on high end ARPU users |

QUOTE(raul88 @ Apr 9 2016, 06:34 PM) still have contract for ivalue plan pay penalty & go umobile apply mnp.. Maxis normally give 1 or 2 months before they 'sell' your number to someone else.. They give chance if u suddenly change your mind to stay..i want to port out to orange should i terminate and pay the penalty first or straight away go to orange shop and MNP if terminate straightaway then the number will gone???? |

QUOTE(heartache @ Apr 11 2016, 10:17 PM) ported out to celcom a month and never been happier to see my bill is less than RM100..(to be exact is RM76 autodebit) best part brought forward 2GB of my 10GB... good decision u made.if you asked me about the LTE speed compared to maxis...i am getting constant 20mbps in klang valley...3g i am getting 2-6mbps.. the most relaxing part is i dont have to see the length of the video before clicking the load button. (this part win all) welcome to anti-maxis club |
