altis, basically nothing to worry, spare parts are reasonable priced and easy to get

Im driving altis 2007 1.6. Tell you what, till now there is no major break down or spareparts changes due to failure changed that more than 700RM above. What i did just normal service under pondok bengkel.

Its toyota altis, nearly all foreman know how to fix that piece of metal.

FYI: comfort will overtake the small car. interms of spareparts, it basically last u VERY VERY long time of daily drive. Since u just driving for 3 years, just take it up.

I am driving my 2003 Altis 1.8.

Fuel consumption (city drive): RM 70~80 for 400km

Air-cond sibeh cold! Almost all people who sat my car said that

It is really much more comfortable smile.gif

And + 1 on the aircon, the coolest car's air con ever. Most of the time i just make it the lowest fan speed and highest temperature ~28C which still DAMN cool. for my opinion, old toyota parts pretty tahan lazak.

TS - 'Would most probably be driving say, 150km for a return trip from work. Unless I plan to rent a place nearby, but we'll see. '

If u get Axia, i suggest you to stay near your working place. Driving Axia everyday 150KM, dont think will last u long even its a new car.
